Mezza Luna is located amidst a multitude of different restaurants but is one of the few that serves alcoholic drinks. There are no parking spaces around the restaurant so you would need to try and find somewhere to park as near as possible. The restaurant has a warm, friendly atmosphere which has helped by the very helpful and efficient staff. We started with the harissa hummus which came with lovely flat breads and the harissa gave a nice kick to the hummus. For our main course we chose to share the gourmet mix grill which had a great mixture of chicken and lamb kebabs, chicken wings, lamb chops, rice, fries and salad. All of the meat was tasty and tender and there was certainly more than enough for the 2 of us and we were glad that we only had a starter of hummus. The house red wine was an excellent Italian wine from Sicily and went very well with the food. We really enjoyed the meal and the wine and will definitely return the next time we're in Cardiff.
