Went in on Thursday 11th about 2pm. As we had just missed the lunch rush and most of the tables needed clearing our order was taken quickly and the food arrived promptly. It then became obvious that there was only one waiter and one person cooking. The waiter was very friendly and when we explained it was our first visit to Cardiff he was happy to give us directions to venues and even though he clearly was very busy he took the time to chat. Would definitely recommend. The food was very good!
Went in for a meal with my sister, very busy for a Friday night (which is understandable), had a family of 4 close to us with a toddler that was unhappy - didn’t really bother me that much
Service was exceptional, the waiter was really friendly & polite, the food was yummy, will come back here again (maybe not a week before Christmas)
The staff were so lovely! I brought my two children here over the weekend and we had such a great time. The food was great made by some of the nicest staff i’ve ever met with such a warm welcome. Would 10/10 recommend to the other mums at school
We had a pizza making party at Pizza Express & couldn’t recommend it more. Our host was so much fun it really added to our experience, Prosecco, nibbles & starters then making our own pizza with our choice of toppings. Thank you to team @Pizza Express making the TikTok was hilarious!
absolutley loved it, had a table in the corner and you can watch the cooks as they make the pizza! the staff couldn't stop smiling and the atmosphere was amazing and so welcoming.The outside seating area is beautiful and perfect for a sunny day.The food was beyond amazing and the desert was to die for!!!!
Excellent pizza and great, quick service. Clean and tidy place, with a nice atmosphere - not too quiet but not too busy. Desserts were lovely, and coped well with allergy requirements. Highly recommend for anyone who wants great food at a reasonable price.
What can I say about PizzaExpress in the high street? I am gluten free so I am very cautious about where I eat, however PizzaExpress is excellent for me and has so much choice. I’ve visited this restaurant almost on a weekly basis and they have not once got my order wrong. This restaurant is not just good for gluten free: the atmosphere is great and the food is very quick — I don’t think I’ve ever waited more than 10 minutes from ordering to eating. I would like to thank the whole team there. Although there is a lot of choice, I would particularly recommend the BBQ Burnt Ends pizza!
We enjoyed our family meal here. The food was tasty with good portion sizes and the place was clean. We had to chase up a glass of wine but the staff were apologetic and sorted it out and were mostly efficient.
We were served by Amelia and she was so fab! We were in a hurry and she went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed, was super friendly and patient and personable. The food came quickly and we had a lovely time! Thanks Amelia you’re a star xx
We had my daughters 7th birthday Pizza making party here and I have to say it was a great experience the staff were very attentive to the kids taught them about pizza and great fun making the pizzas , would highly recommend thankyou
As always one of the best pizzas in town with definitely the best staff. The chef, waiter and manager very friendly and implicated in the service of the customers.
Fantastic friendly staff, especially with our 5 year old daughter. My husband and I took her for pizza and I was showing her how they make pizza…. Then the chef let her make her very own pizza and take it home! It was an absolute brilliant fun experience for her, and topped off her first ever train ride and trip to museum! Totally recommend this place for a kid friendly experience 😊
