A very friendly customer service with an excellent knowledge of dishes that complement one another. This was my first experience at the newly opened kitchen. We tried a range of different dishes and I've added some pictures of the dishes I would highly recommend i.e squid in wasabi sauce, chicken fried rice, duck salad and the beef in the two dishes we tried was very soft and tender. Excellent food!
This is our favourite Asian takeaway. It's a bit pricier than the others, but that's because the quality is of a much higher standard than elsewhere. The ribs are divine - they've been slow cooked and marinated to perfection. The dumplings are delicious and the curries we have sampled have all taste restaurant quality. A great place!
Went there to order 3 different tofu dishes for me and my friends. They were very delicious, haven’t had such good tofu dishes since I have been in Cardiff. I’m happy that such place exist now, now we can have some more of the amazing asian cuisine!
I am so glad I found this restaraunt! They only opened 2 weeks ago but it is honestly my new fave place to eat in Cardiff. We had the crispy duck salad, the sambal king prawns, beef redang and chicken wasabi. We also had coconut rice and boiled rice. Everything was excellent. The flavours were perfectly balanced and everything was made from fresh ingrediants. The owner and chef were really friendly and so welcoming. I will be returning asap. This is authentic Chinese food, good size portions and good value.
Delicious pan-asian food! Fresh ingredients and an authentic menu. Really enjoyed talking to the owners and their passion for authentic flavours was a pure delight. No fake flavours, over salted or sugary sauces, just delicious spices all perfectly cooked. Try the wasabi squid!
Well cooked, fresh food and very tasty. Great veggie options. We loved the wasabi tofu - not too spicy but with just a little bit of wasabi kick. Will come back next time we visit Cardiff.
Superb authentic Asian cuisine!
We had a takeaway of crispy duck salad with a beautiful spiced plum dressing followed by a rich beef rendang which was tender, savoury and bouncing with aromaatic flavours of chilli and lemongrass to name but a few. The sambal squid was really hot and delicious with a subtle sweet, sourness(we asked for lots of chilli and we got it !)The mains came with free rice and, as we waited the owner Sunny gave us a free taster of nose warming wasabi chicken, lush!
All this great food for just under £25!
My advice as a chef is to try this place as it's real food cooked with care and passion!
Delicious and so fresh! Very friendly staff with so much passion for their food. Not greasy at all just amazing flavours. I would 100% recommend and will definitely be back again! Happy this has opened in Roath.Thank you!
Impeccable service and delicious, freshly made Chinese food which surpasses the stereotypes of Chinese take-away. Whilst waiting for our take-away we talked with the owner and the chef (who worked at Michelin-starred Hakkasan) who were very enthusiastic and kind. The crispy duck salad, sambal king prawns and soy pork chop was all of a very high standard. Next time I will be getting the wasabi chicken which was we sampled whilst waiting. So flavoursome, light and well balanced. I will be back very soon and wish them the best of luck. Now to sit with my feet up and have a post-meal nap.
Absolutely fantastic food and the staff are so friendly! It's not your usual greasy questionable Chinese fare. It's all clearly fresh good quality ingredients with good flavours. They've only just opened so that's why they've not had many reviews, but it's really good. Highly recommended!!!
