Our first visit here. My sister and I arrived 15 minutes before kitchen closure so to be honest we were not expecting much. We ordered two curries half and half and WOW! ... I couldn't believe my eyes when they arrived at the table.
They looked beautifully presented on the plate and tasted as good as they looked. Friendly staff and dog friendly. I have a well behaved little yorkie cross but it can be hard to enjoy going places with her as dog friendly can be difficult to find. We will definitely be back to try the Sunday roast.

Six of us were there today and all food was excellent. Rump steaks, liver, scampi and fish dishes were cooked to perfection and ample portions. Will be returning.

Nice pub. Went for the Sunday roast. Service was good, portion size good, meat, veg and meal in general was good. But I think the potatoes were frozen, they'd ran out of a few things and the wait was an hour.

Good burger made great by pulled pork. All burgers need guerkin which was sadly missing. 10/10 guinness

Bold statement but this is my favourite pub! It's what a pub should be, lovely food, lovely atmosphere and the best part, the service. We're somewhat regulars or at least recognised by what I've always assumed is the landlady (hope I'm right!). Came here today and never disappoints, if you catch them open, stop by!
