Absolutely delicious. Starters were very good, but the 2 pasta dishes we had blew us away, incredible flavours. Can't wait to go back. We had walk in, so only had a short time slot, really want to try the desserts.
Another great meal at this place. Friend and I went for the lasagne and the Penne al Pollo and a cheeky cheesy garlic bread. Beautiful food and very filling too. I've never had a bad meal from this place and I'm glad cardiff has a restaurant like this.
Best pasta I have ever tasted combined with enthusiastic, attentive table service, and friendly talks with a passionate staff. 10/10 recommend.

Excellent meal at this well-known Italian restaurant in Whitchurch in Cardiff. Caprese salad fresh and plenty of mozzarella. Lasagne was extremely tasty. Calzone was huge and delicious. Not the cheapest Italian in Cardiff, but the food is top class. Gets exceedingly busy, so booking in advance is recommended. The seating is quite densely packed, and the open plan can make it quite noisy, so maybe not the place gor thar romantic meal for two, but if you are celebrating, the lively atmosphere and friendly service will make for an enjoyable evening.
Took my family here for a birthday meal. Pizzeria Villagio was absolutely fantastic!
The fantastic menu, the quality of the ingredients & flavour, and the outstanding service made for a highly enjoyable experience, everyone enjoyed themselves and were very happy that I'd brought them here, we will definitely be back, and cannot recommend them enough to everyone else, you will not be disappointed!
Two of my favourite things were the Salsiccia (I absolutely love this sausage, I get it all the time when outside of the UK, but it has been difficult to find here, until now) and the Orecchiette Boscaiola (Italian sausage and mushrooms cooked in a creamy white wine sauce) which was honestly one of the best pasta dishes I've ever had, it's now a firm favourite!
Loved the food as always, prices are quite high for an Italian and the acoustics in the room aren't great so it's very loud in there and depending who you're sat near it makes it hard to hear. Thats the only 2 reasons I didn't give 5 stars, would recommend and will go back.
Hadn't been here for years before last night but it's always remained a family favourite. Lovely warm atmosphere, fabulous menu with great food at very reasonable prices considering the quality and generous portion. Great coffee too which is always important to me.

Went there with my gym friends and the food was lovely. I had tagliatelle with mushroom and prawns. It was really delicious and prawns were so tasty and fresh. Would recommend anyone going there. Some of us ordered Calzone and other pastas and pizza, too. They said it was delicious, too. It was busy in there as I think people were having their Christmas do. But it felt really nice and the staff were very good and cheerful. Would highly recommend this place.
Fantastic food with the best calzone I've ever had - both my partner and I love it so much we keep going back! Great atmosphere with the right combination of modern restaurant and classic Italian. The staff are friendly and attentive, and service has always been fast and professional. This was both mine and my partner's birthday meal out choice and it did not fail to deliver - excellent both times. Would definitely recommend! Also would recommend booking a table as they are (with good reason) very popular.
