Yummy food and great staff! We stopped in for a ‘light’ lunch but the serves were actually huge. The food was really fresh, tasty and great value. I had a whole food bowl and my partner had fish & chips. Luckily we ignored the previous negative review.. I would definitely return here when I’m back in Cardiff.

Managed to pop in during happy hour - was fairly quiet but good for a wind down all the same. Good value for Madri at £3:20 a pint 👍

Hopefully I have the right O'Neill's in Cardiff. Stopped there for a very late breakfast on a Saturday and I think it was way after they would normally serve breakfast but they still did it for us. The service was so so quick and friendly and the food was amazing. Shame I couldn't finish mine but would definitely go back to Cardiff just for that breakfast (obviously loved Cardiff and the people of Cardiff too). What a fantastic end to a perfect weekend, thank you to all of the staff. Price was reasonable too.

We came to watch the rugby, and arrived at 6pm. The staff had reserved a table for us the day before, showing us which table would have the best view etc. They went above and beyond. The service was great and good value for money on the food and drinks. Absolute great night. Thanks to everyone at O'Neils

We went to the restaurant to have breakfast. We were not expecting any good breakfast, nevertheless it was very good quality english breakfast. We had a full-english breakfast with a Madri beer! We enjoyed that a lot. The place was clean and organised - It was during an off-peak time zone. I do recommend people having an english breakfast here

This was a lovely pub to go drinking at, with a gloriously lit counter decorated by barrels and the Welsh flag! I enjoyed a bottle of Corona Extra at a reasonable price, sitting comfortable next to one of the pub's entertaining slogans. The staff were friendly and so was the atmosphere overall with the other people in there; it was kept clean too!

First time in Cardiff yesterday and whilst waiting to go to the arena, I stumbled across this bar to kill some time, I have to say what a lovely experience I had in there. It was a very lovely setting and the live entertainment they had was brilliant in my opinion, It definatly started my day off in a brilliant way. If ever I'm in Cardiff again I will definatly be going back to O'Neil's. Hopefully the same band will be playing even though I have no idea who they were 🤣 Thank you for a great experience

Went in before the speedway gp at the Principality stadium. They had a live band on and the atmosphere was amazing. To be honest, drinks were a bit pricey but we'll worth it for the entertainment value

Came here on a works night out and it was brilliant! First time here and will not be the last. Service was fantastic, couldnt ask for more. Great deals on shots! Our server Sophie was friendly and tentative. She also poured a great pint! Will be coming back again, Thank you.

Of all my many many years of drinking I have never experienced as pleasant experience as here. I've been far and wide looking for that specific feeling of venue with no luck. However I stepped into here and had tickles and butterflies where I didn't think was possible. If I had to choose a specific I'd say the woman who served me, Amanda I believe her name was, was fantastic. Made me feel welcome and was very pleasant. Not many places staff are polite and they make me feel very insecure and unwelcome. I always look forward to my visit at O'Neills every week for my refreshing beverage and wonderfull splendid unforgettable evening. Bravo God bless you all ❤️
