Great place for a bite to eat and a drink after a walk around the lake or just to meet up with friends for a chat. I recommend any of the panini and the hot chocolate .. �

Hi, Me and my daughter Ayla arrived this afternoon for lunch. first impressions of your place is absolutely fantastic. The staff at this business are a ture credit to you. I did ask to speak to the Owner of the business but he was not in today, however i did speak to the lovely manager she was fantatic. Customer service is brilliant. The staff made us very welcome not many places like this in Cardiff especially when you arrive with a child! So what's the food like? Very nice and good service. But most of all the best thing about this place is the baby changing room lol! 5 star service if you have a baby or a young child. Thank you very much.☺ Nick you must give your brilliant staff a pay rise! ☺

I recently had my 30th birthday at the Terra Nova - such a cool venue for a party, especially at night when it’s all lit up with fairy lights and candles! Christina was really helpful in the planning and the evening ran super smoothly with lovely staff. Great range of pizzas served with lovely salads and plenty of chips with a really good drinks menu too. My guests enjoyed their welcome drink which was a lovely touch. Highly recommend for a party venue!

Came here today for lunch with my family. We ordered tuna and cheese panini and pizza which were delicious. Also we had a custard slice and a carrot cake 😋. My partner had a forest hot choc with a large amount of cream with a cherry on top, a very nice touch. The prices are reasonable considering the location of the cafe. The views are great and my grandson enjoyed watching the swans swim by. We will definitely visit again as we really enjoyed our visit and the staff were very welcoming.

Me & my wife try to come here every couple of week’s!! Amazing food & drinks made fresh & the staff are the best honestly the best crew of people ever!!! Icing on the cake dogs are welcomed the same way people are with open arms can’t say enough about the place that’s why we always come back for more!! Keep up what you’re all doing Terra Nova you’re the best!!!!!!!

Myself and my partner took a walk around roath park lake. We often take a walk as it is easy to park and free, but never have we gone into the cafe as we never knew it was dog friendly until we spoke to a passer by. So we decided to pop in and have a nice warm drink with our dog on a sunny autumn Sunday. They had a large selection of drinks and hot chocolates with all different choices of syrups. We chose ginger bread latte and hot chocolate with marshmallows and cream which I have to say was delicious. Unfortunately we had just had our lunch, but we looked at the menu and they had a lot of choice and we did see a waitress taking a pizza to the table close by and wow it looked very nice I have to say. We will definitely be back for one of those.

They had run out of the meat antipasto so I said to just give me what they had. They produced probably the loveliest antipasto I have ever eaten! Just what I needed on my trek around the lake to raise money for Cancer Research. Thank you 😊

Great views across Roath Park and the water here. The price of the food is very reasonable and the size of the potions were generous. Everything was freshly prepared and tasted really good. They also have amazing hot chocolate flavours such as black forest and coconut 😍

Really nice spot for lunch. Pizza is handmade and clearly using fresh ingredients. Bacon and Feta salad was also fantastic. Lots of cold drinks as well as wine/beer on offer. Would be easy with this location to be expensive and poor quality, this place I’d the total opposite. Staff also welcoming and friendly. Dog friendly inside and out

We recently celebrated my cousins baby shower at Terra Nova by hiring the venue for our private event. It was absolutely perfect, the staff were amazing and very attentive to our needs - special shout out to Jan who went out of her way to ensure we had a great time. The bar was open for us to purchase drinks, lovely g&ts and excellent wine selection! Thank you Nick and the team x
