Had a great brunch here. Amazing selection of teas though the peony tea did not have much floral taste so I wouldn’t recommend that. Can definitely recommend the brunch brioche though! Had the fried egg and smoked cheese brioche with sausages added on and that combination was phenomenal

Lovely café with well decorated interior.
I tried their oat latte and I can see why they were voted best coffee shop in the UK! As someone who’s not the biggest fan of coffee, I finished my entire drink!
I would definitely recommend this café.

Very good coffees, very good food portions (loads of avocado on avo toast), it is a bit cold though (not food, just heating wise). Very good jam. Quite a lot of vegan options (thank you!!!) There’s no table service, order at the counter. It is nice casual coffee place.
The design gives me vibes like I’m in ikea store. Quite homely atmosphere.
Please note toilets are upstairs (not accessible as there’s no lift)

Great place! Very nice food.. super friendly staff and fast service. Food was affordable. We took the Merguez sausages and egg brioche bun and the eggs Benedict with a macchiato and a lemonade for £25. Highly recommend for brunch!

Had a lovely latte here. Very nice coffee and good selection of sweets as well. Relaxed atmosphere and definitely worth popping in just to chill out for a bit.

Yummy!!! Such a gem. The food is great, they have cakes and bakes and on top of that the staff is friendly. They have a very large range of teas and beverages (iced and hot drinks). I would definitely recommend it!

Based in the Wyndham Arcade, this quaint place was chosen for a surprise afternoon tea hen party. The staff were friendly and welcoming, we had a private upstairs space, a choice of a huge tea (and coffee) menu and then the most delightful cakes, sandwiches, sweet and savoury scones. I would highly recommend and the food was delicious 😋

Lovely place to come for some tea and quiet space. All of the staff are super friendly, the space is super cozy and comfortable, and the tea selection is great. Staff were great at helping me choose a tea, as I dont know my way around it really.
One of my orders got lost, but staff were so apologetic and sorted it straight away once I had enquired. And its such a lovely place I didn't mind waiting a bit longer at all.
I didn't eat food, but the food looks magnificent, so I will be back to try some!

Great place to have a warming meal during this cold snap, recommended by my daughter. The teas are really good and served in a large pot so you get plenty, poached eggs are great the porridge was perfect and not to sweet and there was a generous portion of cinnamon toast.
Considering it was packed the service was quick and the staff really nice, the food is reasonably priced so will definitely be going again.

Whenever I am in Cardiff I visit Waterloo tea. They sell the best tea and coffee around for miles, and the food is also utterly delicious and very well priced. The staff are always very warm, welcoming and helpful. I highly reccomend visiting Waterloo tea and send all of my friends there. I shall be back soon for more tea and delectable food!

Mab Jones invited me to Waterloo Tea and I am very glad we went there. The food, service and tea were all top quality and I would recommend Waterloo Tea highly as a place to relax and take a break from the bustling city.

Had lunch at Waterloo Tea in Cardiff today and we were blown away. The food was delicious (including the cheese on toast our little girl had) and the Waterloo chai tea was one of, if not the best chai tea we have tasted. The cakes were delicious too! The staff were all friendly and couldn't do more to accommodate us and our little one. Thank you for our delicious stress free lunch.

Had the most delicious lunch at Waterloo tea rooms today. Roast aubergine, herb crumb, pomegranate molasses tabbouleh and humous. A slice of spinach and pistachio cake to follow, accompanied with refreshing lemon and verbena loose leaf tea. Well done Waterloo Tea Rooms! I bought a teapot too to enjoy more of that lovely tea at home.

Won a voucher for afternoon tea for two in a raffle earlier this year so redeemed it yesterday. One of the best afternoon teas I have had. Great service even though they were extremely busy. Great choice of sandwiches and cake and had no problem catering for dietry requirements. Definitely recommend!

So my friend and I went to the Waterloo's jazz/cocktail evening. We asked the waiter if there was an offer on the cocktails, and it was a firm no. We went with it, and thought ok, for £8 they must be good cocktails!
What turned up?! Pretty much an £8 shot! Not impressed at all. The world's smallest "cocktail" However the jazz players were fab!
Will never go here again for cocktails. Rude serviceman, and not the nicest of cocktails. Disappointed! Rip off!
Only positive note: food was lovely, worth the money. Cocktails too small and not worth £8 at all. Was pretty much a shot!

Great place for a peaceful brunch, with a great selection of tea, coffee and cake. Poached Eggs with Spinach and Salmon on Sour Dough toast is a must try.
Gemma Styles
really nice little tea shop with lovely staff.

Rather fussy about coffee, tea and eats.
This place scored top points on all three.
A special mention for Anthony, excellent knowledge of products and takes great care in preparing the drinks, along with very good customer service skills.

Awesome vegan Afternoon Tea here yesterday. Very imaginative savouries and choice of 4 vegan cakes. Lovely!

Had a very enjoyable breakfast tea and toast before we braved the Christmas shopping.
I was with my two best friends who hadn't been before.
We all enjoyed and will be coming back.

Lovely and patient staff. Visited with family on their way back home and enjoyed a lovely late breakfast. Lovely tea and coffee. Atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. Will definitely return

Odd experience and nearly an hour of my life I'll never get back. Food arrived cold, staff weren't bothered. Food never arrived second time as apparently Welsh rarebit takes 40 minutes. Just odd. It's a shame as I do like supporting independents but it was just rubbish sadly.

So nice to find a tea shop that truly cares about tea and knows how to make it! Never found anything else like it, the raw dishes were incredible too.
Wendy Booth
Lovely friendly service. Delicious afternoon tea, and even provided little boxes to take away uneaten slices of their beautiful moist cake. Coped really well with a large gaggle of eccentric ladies! Thank you 😊
