The Crowd Cafe

Absolutely wonderful little place. My only regret is that I did not discover this place sooner. The food and coffee is superb. The decor is beautiful and makes the cafe feel very homely. The lady who runs the cafe is so friendly and charming. Such a lovely place to sit and play board games with friends on a Sunday afternoon.

I visited this place recently for the first time and was immediately impressed by the very warm welcome and smile. I ordered a ham cheese and mushroom toastie which was absolutely delicious and finished off with a lovely cappuccino. On the basis of this I visited again today and the experience was every bit as good. This time it was poached eggs on toast with mushrooms, again it was served perfectly, nice soft poached eggs and lovely mushrooms. This really is a must visit place and I'm so glad I discovered it. Needless to say I will be returning and highly recommend it.

This place has amazing food for such a good price. You won't regret coming here at any point during the day. Their breakfast and lunch menus are all day, so you can get whatever, whenever. I had a regular English breakfast, and omg it was so good. I can't even, like wow. It's so good. They also make very good coffee, and there's free WiFi as well, which I'm actually using to write this review. I am 100% coming here again. So cheap. So good. So fresh.

Our food was amazing despite the lady behind the counter having to work on her own. Food was a bit late but couldn't really blame anyone for that and we were warned that it would take around 30 minutes. We both had breakfasts with hot drinks and everything was fresh and really tasty! Our only complaint was that the dining area got a bit smoky and it was starting to hurt our eyes. Would definitely recommend as long as their extractor fan starts working again!
