Juberaj Indian Restaurant

My sister and I visited the Juboraj Lakeside on Saturday evening. We are both of the same mind, that this restaurant serves one of the very best Indian meals in Cardiff. The location alone and easy parking make the experience from the start, better than you average high street restaurant. The food was delicious with dekicate spices through out each course. The lamb biryani and vegetable curry that accompanied it was a triumph. My sister choose a chicken Bhoona. Plenty of succulent rich sauce with a fragrant pilau rice. I could go on and on. Oh! And the staff were wonderful making us feel very welcome as it was gone 22.00 hrs before we arrived.. We have this restaurant on our radar now, it's a must, value for money = 100% fantastic and plentiful,

Visited on Sunday evening in June. Restaurant busier than I have seen it previously. Sheekh kebab starter was tasty enough but needed to be served warmer. Main course of chicken vindaloo, boiled rice and paratha. Generous portions and vindaloo hot and spicy. I thought the meal was a bit overpriced. Large Cobra is just under £6. Total for meal for one as listed above with 2 bottles of Cobra was £33.50. (See pic of bill). Having said that the decor and location of the restaurant are nice. Probably one fir an occasion rather than an everyday curry.
