One of the best chippy in Cardiff. Everytime I ordered food, it's the same delicious taste with crispy fish and chips. Must try.

I Absolutely love the kebab in batter .. and the chip were so soft and perfect, no grease at all. I recommend this chippy to everyone. So many options that you won't find in other chippys. My favourite.

Best fish and chips in Cardiff!! Me and my boyfriend go here regularly and always look forward to it. Great quality food and for a good price. The staff are always friendly too.

Cod bites were nice, huge portion of chips. Too big to be fair, a small portion fed two of us. Ordered an onion bhaji but was sent a Samoa, bit disappointing

First time I went it was the best fish and chips I had ever had.
But I went recently and the chips were dry and the fish didn't taste as good. Did you change the recipe?

I’ve been going to capital fish bar for around 3 years now and never been disappointed. I Recommend it to friends and they all tell me the same. My son has just finished his fish cake and chips and has a big smile. Thank you guys.

This is the best fish bar I have ever eaten at. I cannot stress enough how absolutely delicious the fish is and I am genuinely impressed by how clean and well managed the shop appears to be. This will continue to be my regular takeaway for a while I imagine.

chips: 7 out of 10, not bad. But a little bit soggy after 10 minutes biking to home
Cod: Solid 9.5 out of 10, really crispy outside, and tender inside. Really good
Service: 10 out of 10. I ordered by phone in advance. When I arrived the shop, just perfectly timely got my food. Really good service.

I was surprised to see that this place was as good as it was. Normally city Rd is full of fast food dripping with all kinds of rubbish, but nope, not here. Chips are amazing and surprisingly, the pies weren't too bad either... give this place a go, you won't be disappointed.

This is the first time I have bought from Capital Fish bar. The food was amazing and the staff were helpful and friendly.
I give this fish bar 10 stars 🌟 and would highly recommend this fish bar to anyone who is looking for excellent quality food at affordable prices.
The meal arrived hot and the delivery driver was friendly.
Thank you for such a lovely piece of lightly battered cod. Yummy 😋 it was delicious.
