Pret A Manger

I use this Pret regularly. The staff are very friendly and efficient. Coffee, pastries and baguettes are always good. My only criticism would be the layout of the shop. Where you wait for coffee becomes a real bottleneck especially at busy times (sometimes 10 or more waiting) and it's a game of roulette if you've picked up your own or someone else's coffee! It also may be worth considering opening later in the evening especially being located in a major city transport hub.

**edited again - opening hours were extended to 5pm and are now back to 4pm 🤦‍♀️ oh well, easy come easy go I guess!** Staff are wonderful and the coffee is great, although the limited opening hours is an odd choice right next to several 24 hour buildings. The menu is a bit limited compared to the other Prets, only offering hot drinks (although they can provide an Iced Latte if you ask nicely!) and no barrista made smoothies which is a shame if you've invested in a Pret Coffee Subscription and were expecting to use it fully here

Oh do try their subscription !! While I have written a post on the price efficiency of a subscription on my blog - Glocal Girl, I highly recommend this coffee subscription. They're well stocked with vegan options and breakfast dishes. The staff is fast and efficient. They have enough seating capacity for patrons . I like the location as it is in the heart of the city and easily accessible after a long day of shopping and wandering . . There are clear dividers in between the cashier's desk and customers and there are sanitization booths inside the store .

Excellent staff, good music and great adaption to our covid world. Spilt my cup of tea everywhere and they replaced it for me, the customer service is out of this world. Couldn't recommend higher, even their filtered coffee is amazing compared to other places! Many thanks go to the staff on shift at midday on Friday the 18th their service made my wait for a train a pleasant one!
