Kuro

This place is an absolute “must go” in Cardiff. The atmosphere, the concept, the food and the staff there contribute to the whole experience. Have come back multiple times and recommend to all of my friends. The owners and workers deserve a big congratulations for such delicious food and treating costumers so well. I have moved to Cardiff a few years ago and struggled to find places with such quality food (the one made with love). Hoping that more and more people get to know this place which is so unique compared to other restaurants!!

Had a fantastic experience here. We had the tasting menu dinner, and I can honestly say that everything was delicious, and cooked to perfection. The cooking is not pretentious, but shows off the ingredients and the skill of the chef very well. The potions are generous. And it's not "cheap", but is actually very good value. It is not often the case to get such well executed food for a reasonable price. You could go to a place with a bigger reputation or in another city and pay twice the price for comparable quality. The waiter was very helpful, got our dietary requirements correct and explained everything in a polite, friendly manner. Highly recommended, we'll definitely be back.

Amazing food!! I found this restaurant almost by accident but what a pleasant surprise! It was fantastic experience. We had six course tasting menus with selected wines. Francesco was very friendly and clearly passionate about the dish! I will definitely visit there again and highly recommend this restaurant to everyone!

Celebrated my wife's birthday at Kuro and we certainly felt the true meaning of "Kuro" .. not only we enjoyed every dish perfectly executed by head chef Michele, we were also wonderfully looked after by business partner Francesco and the new front of house Lorena .. Thank you so much .. Will certainly return and highly recommended. 😍

We had an absolutely wonderful experience at this lovely restaurant this evening. The host was very welcoming and friendly, the place has been done up very nicely and the vibe was so relaxed. We had the lamb and it was sensational, beautifully cooked and stunning flavours presented tastefully. Dessert was similarly delicious, and the wine bar was well stocked with a marvellous selection. We look forward to visiting again, particularly to see what is on the menu next month as we are told it changes every month. A new gem in our neighbourhood.
