Ten out of 10 both for river view and excellent sea food, quality service and price.
You would be silly to miss out on this little gem, difficult to find and when you do it still looks shut, so maybe that's why it's one of Cardigans best kept secrets, so don't tell everyone.

Friendly owner put us at ease immediately. Table on the decking overlooking the river as we tucked into a Mediterranean seafood platter, cheese platter and a seafood chowder. Local Welsh beer topped it off for me (as did the glorious sunshine). Everything was fresh and well presented. We could tell the owner took great pride in the business!
Very well priced compared to most places in the area.

Local seafood at its best. We sat on the decking alongside the river in the sunshine. I had a crab roll which came with a salad garnish. My wife had the chowder. She was warned that it was not traditional as it contained no dairy. It was freshly cooked and delicious (She left me a sample). It contained smoked haddock, mussels, squid, and octopus together with potatoes and carrots all served in a clear fish broth. Outstanding!
Being vegetarian, I was literally struggling to find food that pass my taste. Finally tried veggie burger with lentil patty in it, also tried veggie sausages my kids not like it much but the iced latte coffee with caramel was the one I love most and ordered twice. Beans also were OK came as side dish.
I must say the prices are reasonable compared to most tourist spots I visit.
But the scenery all around is the main focus, because of which even a chilled beer can make your day and pictures memorable and awesome.
Kids love the sitting at site although they couldn't enjoy vegetarian meal much.
The staff were lovely and friendly and the Crab Salad was beautiful….we know where you are now so will be back
Lovely, relaxing, cosy and spacey. Dog friendly and right by the river with beautiful views. Nice, friendly and accomodating staff. Not pretentious or overpriced. Good food, good service, excellent value for money, great! Had private functions here a couple of times, excellent food and service and staff so friendly and down to earth, would recommend! I often go for coffee and toast with a friend and always generous portions and no skimping on the milk with the tea, attentive personal service, friendly with a smile, my favourite place in Cardigan for a cuppa and toast.

Fabulous little restaurant on the side of the river Teifi in Cardigan. Met my 50+ group for lunch and enjoyed possibly the nicest piece of pie I've ever tasted, supplied by a local butcher about 300 yards away 😀 Lots of locally sourced fish too; making a nice selection of fish options on the menu. Wifey was delighted 😀 fast service and happy owners and staff. Tummy too full for pudding, but the coffee was great 😀
We didn't know about your restaurant so we're really pleased that we had found it. My husband had the fish platter and I had the meat platter, they were both amazing.
We would definitely recommend you to everyone.
3rd visit today and absolutely top notch seafood salad, previous visits and i've had the chowder and lobster, excellent location and great staff
