We came across this place whilst touring in our motorhome, good parking, though I imagine it gets busy weekends and in the summer. We had a full monty breakfast and salmon and scrambled eggs, both very good. Nice little gift shop and gardens to walk Around, and petting farm for the kiddies.
Proper farm shop, full Scottish breakfast with locally sourced ingredients. Cute shop with Scottish gin, whiskey, honey etc.
Full monty breakfast for me and the good lady today, following last night's snow fall. Really enjoyed the black pudding.
Best coffee (flat white) I've had in a while from here today too.
It was a March Sunday, and quiet. We didn't book. In the summertime booking is recommended.
We were on the hunt for pictures of the Highland Coo. The farm was about 15 minutes from where we were staying. They did not disappoint. Coos, Alpacas, Goats were there for petting. Nice kid attractions as well.
We often go here for brunch and have always found the food to be of a high standard. Booking here is recommended, although they usually make a plan to fit you in where possible. The farmshop also has a good selection of quality products.
Very lovely place. Great for Christmas shopping, garden items and plants, or even a coffee and a chat with the friendly staff. Also very obliging as they helped me see my one and only highland cow in my entire Scotland travels. 🐮
Lunch was lovely, too. Not too extravagant. Just nice wholesome meals at a reasonable price, which is very refreshing and appreciated.

Met friends for lunch and a chat, very busy but nice atmosphere. The server was lovely, chatted away, very friendly and gave advice on what to get. There was a good choice of food on the menu, and I could see other people's food being brought out, it all looked amazing. I chose smoked salmon and egg sandwich with a small portion of soup, my partner ordered the farmers salad, a bit like a ploughman's. Both came quickly, I wish I had took photos but since we had company I didn't. His salad was beautiful, very colourful, plenty of cheese, pickles etc, nice thick cut ham. She brought a few choices of dressings for him to try as they sell them in the shop, all were gorgeous. Our only wish was that we had tried the cakes or scones, so we will return soon to have a try. Lovely place, cannot fault them.
As a visitor to Helensburgh this was my first time in Ardardan Estate. It was a very pleasant experience with a great menu selection, and best of all - there was a dog friendly area and a children's play facility next door! I'll definitely be back!
Lovely cafe all cakes homemade, lovely little deli shop too. staff very friendly and helpful got to see the Highland cows, big thanks to Josh for taking me to see them much appreciated
Had a great lunch and hot chocolate in the tea room. It all tasted good and priced well. All the staff were very friendly and attentive. There was also loads of tasty looking cake options to have at the counter, we were too full to try any. Had a nice little walk around the estate after to see the animals and a little wander round the garden centre and shop.
