One of the top ten restaurants I've ever been to. Everything was impeccably cooked - the vegetables, the steak, the fish, all of it. Their cocktails were *on point.* The wait-staff were deeply knowledgeable and remarkably good at every aspect of their work. It was truly impressive.

Service very good and food delicious however on this occasion the lamb was much more pink than I would have liked, waiter rectified this professionally and agreed with me that it was pinker than usual. We also had the N'Duja sausage, smoked cheese soufflé and buttermilk chicken, all very delicious.

Easily one of the best restaurants in Carlisle. The staff are very good; helpful and friendly, without being over the top. Nothing is too much trouble. The food is always excellent.
The specials are interesting and well thought out with a good standard menu for the reassurance that there will always be something you'll like. First time you go, get the Chicken and waffles.
They also have an excellent selection of cocktails, the staff can help if you're not sure what to try. Personally, I love the smoked cocktails, I've never seen anything like them!

Easily the best restaurant in Carlisle. Start to finish, top to bottom, if it's on the menu it's a winner. No wonder they seem to win every award going, and it's justified too. Ps, the shin of beef is incredible.

Down from Glasgow visiting our daughter and booked a table. Chose the brunch menu, everything we all had from start to finish was outstanding! Great little joint! Definitely will be back and the staff were very nice! Top marks guys!

Had the Sunday lunch yesterday in the Foxborough. Three adults had the roast beef. Could not fault the quality, quantity or service. Kindly supplied with a doggy bag to take the uneaten beef away, far more than we could eat. Not cheap but great value for money. This is the place to go for a special treat. We will be back. Thank you.
