Gone To The Dogs

Absolutely love this dog friendly place. So does my sheltie. Dog sausage always on the menu. Definitely order a fruit scone they are awesome. Lots of other dogs all wandering about saying hello. If you love dogs this is the place to go. I also like how you can donate a meal for anyone who is homeless and is hungry they can go in and redeem the donation. This place does so much good for the homeless of Carlisle they are inspiring❤️

Meet OSCAR (mini schnauzer crossed west Highland terrier) x he & I went for a doggy friendly visit on a couple of occasions x we had the best time when the café had other pooches visiting x some dogs running free others on leads x we sampled food and drink from a good choice menu & service was friendly & prompt x it was great 2 b made welcomed with Oscar & I will thoroughly recommend this dog friendly cafe as a unique place 2 visit x there is a big playpen 4 your dog if u choose 2 use it, with pull toys etc... x thank you 2 all the staff that made this cafe possible x it's 1 of a kind x again many thanks Laura xx

They have the best and largest, scones you will ever eat. If you want a place to sit and have a drink and a bite to eat in a place you can take your dog, this is the cafe for you. Definitely a place for dog lovers. Ps, the spaniel is on a diet. So ignore the puppy dog eyes and do not share your scone with him......no matter how much you want to.

First visit with our dog and sad to say it will be our last. No welcome at all, it may dog friendly but could definitely be cleaner tables wiped etc. The service is shocking extremely slow had to ask three times about our order, the place wasn't busy, if we hadn't paid up front we would have left. They weren't short staff 3 people working behind the counter. Maybe it was a bad day we won't be going back to see.

Excellent dog friendly cafe. Very friendly and helpful staff, customers have always been a pleasure to meet as well as their dogs :-) Food is amazing and it's just out of this world for dogs. Best cafe I've ever been in with my boys, they can come off their leads and have a wonder, meeting other dogs in a safe secure environment, no stress needed like in other dog friendly venues. I can not recommend this place enough. It's brilliant for people who love dogs but haven't got one of their own, go on in and get your doggy fix

A truly wonderful ethos, indeed.... a truly wonderful place, with truly wonderful people inside this space. Helping and feeding the poor, the homeless, the down at heel, my God if only everybody took a leaf out of Gone To The Dogs book.... then no man need steal and had even half of their humanity, unfortunately too few do, alas
