Grand Illusion Hard Cider

This hard to detect restaurant/escape room is a gem. Unfortunately, we had to start by parking in a lot and walking to the restaurant, as there was no parking available. Once we were inside though, we were delighted. We were greeted by live music and were taken upstairs to the upper seating. 2 of us had cider flights (6 each), and 3 of us had individual ciders. After trying every person's ciders, I could not believe how utterly impressed I was. I was not unhappy with a single one of them. They tasted amazing, it is no wonder they call themselves a cider place. The food was equally as good but a tad pricey. We started with an appetizer of the pretzel flight, where they give you 3 differently seasoned pretzels and 3 different sauces. (Best combo, Italian pretzel with garlic Parm sauce). I had the bbq chicken flatbread with cauliflower crust ($3.50 extra). It was perfectly filling, gave a good amount of meat, sauce, and cheese. Everything was perfectly proportioned, and I left neither feeling hungry nor overly stuffed. My mom got the same but with the regular crust and was equally happy. My dad got the brisket flatbread and scarfed it down, but it was lacking in the meat. He suggests asking for a side of peppers to add to it for extra flavor. My fiance got the brisket sandwich and said there was a lot of meat, and the beer cheese was an amazing addition. Our friend comes here every week and said she has tried everything on the menu and has never been disappointed. We ended the meal with the cannoli dessert, which could've used a few more chocolate chips but was unique and tasty overall. I can't wait to come back here and maybe even try an escape room next time.
