Carlisle Bakery

So long as I'm in the area, Carlisle Bakery will be my choice for all my baking needs. Eric was FANTASTIC! Very professional. Unbelievably friendly and courteous. We came to him for wedding cake with 1 month to go and he managed to get us exactly the kind of cake and design we wanted, despite also juggling issues with his freezers. The cake itself was beautiful. The price was reasonable. He arrived on time. There wasn't a single flaw, from our initial meeting/tasting to the ceremony day. I couldn't have asked for a better baker and a better cake. I see no reason to ever go anywhere else.

After poor customer service at the only other bakery we were familiar with in the area, Carlisle Bakery was highly recommended to my husband and I by our wedding caterer. Immediately after the cake tasting, we knew we picked the best bakery around! Customer service is top notch, and everyone in the bakery was so nice and easy to talk to. We had 8 inch cakes as our centerpieces, so we wanted a variety, and Eric did not disappoint! We had 7 different flavor combinations and all of them were so delicious!! Every cake was beautiful, all decorated differently, and were a great conversation starter at the tables where we had friends and family who were meeting for the first time. The best part is that there was enough cake left over that my husband and I were able to freeze our topper AND enjoy cake a few days after the wedding. Carlisle Bakery is the BEST, hands down!

Carlisle bakery on Hanover is awesome. I called for a cake not knowing it was appointment only but the owner made my cake even though it was very short noticed, he made a Jack Skeleton for my daughter and he did a great job on it everyone loved it. I will be using them again and would recommend people go there. Thanks Carlisle Bakery.

Carlisle Bakery has always provided the best character cakes for my granddaughters' birthday parties. This year is a Bubble Guppie Cake. We've had Elmo, Cookie Monster and Dora the Explorer too. My daughters also bought the cake for our 40th wedding anniversary there. The white chocolate mouse filling is the best!

This was a great place to get breakfast pastries (donuts, Danishes), cupcakes, whoopie pies, etc. Keyword was. As of the beginning of the year (2018), the store will no longer be selling breakfast pastries. Just selling cakes and maybe cupcakes? I'm hoping they will have a press release regarding the business strategy change. I had previously given it 5 stars, but that was based on things they no longer sell. I've never had a cake. I'm sure it's good, just never had it.

I reached out to this location to make a Harry Potter cake for my daughter. I email the Bakery and Eric responded pretty quickly in about and hour. I informed him of the time frame and gave him my budget, he responded and told me he would get back to me and he never with the birthday 1 1/2 days away..... Very disappointed
