Iron Skillet

Arrived around 4:30 PM. Location had quite a bit of people seated in it however the restaurant had about four servers all willing and ready to serve. I sat down was immediately greeted and my drink order was given drink came out super fast along with the soup I ordered. I ordered a chicken sandwich with no bun and a side of hashbrowns and it came out absolutely fast and amazing. Restaurant was clean so to taste fresh they didn’t have that aftertaste of a dirty machine. Server was super bubbly and happy to be waiting on me and made me feel comfortable and appreciated as a customer. I didn’t catch her name however she’s got three little stars behind her ear has a tattoo if you come to this location be sure to ask for her she’s super attentive super fast and seems to truly care about your experience here.

A group of 9 of us stopped there for breakfast and the African American cook looked up and saw us and said out loud “I’m not cooking for all them people”. Well maybe you should not cook at all. The waitress lost a great tip. We like to eat and review our food. We are all government workers and Vets. The poor waitress was so embarrassed. We gave her a tip for saying she is sorry. I can’t say it was racism because we were all black. The cook just did not want to do her job. Tip for the cook is do better or get out of that business and clean up your appearance before you say anything . We were embarrassed for her. Did not see the manager. Won’t ever come back . Went up the street to diner an left a big tip. Wish I give zero stars.

I just left this place, was there earlier with a friend, we ordered ribye steak and white fish... trust me when I say that the meat seemed frozen for months and had absolutely zero taste in it. The elderly server was very nice. The other woman with the white shirt had an attitude for no reason and we just wasted $60 for trash food. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND COMING HERE.

We came in for dinner. Service was descent but the food wasn't that great. I ordered chicken fried steak which didn't have much gravy on it so I asked for more. They tried to replace it with sausage gravy. Completely different taste. If I'd wanted sausage gravy I would have ordered the Biscuits & Gravy. The waitress had to address the cook that the food was coming out cold.

We stopped here for breakfast. It was a pleasant experience. The service was good and the food was delicious. There weren't that many customers on this cold morning but they still made a couple mistakes with their order. No big deal not at game changer. Would still eat there in the future when we're in the area.

I asked my waitress to be sure my eggs would be the way I wanted them. I ordered over medium in order to insure cooked whites and runny yokes. I got back one hard fried egg and 2 overcooked but still runny whites. I found a heavy pocket of salt in the hashbrowns. My husband's chicken fried steak was battered and shrunk while frying is, to half of its original size. That's not how Steak cooks. Hamburger does that. The gravy, too was too salty. The cook either doesn't know his business or doesn't care. My waitress was sweet and has nice customer service skills.
