Mc Kay's Cave Restaurant

Just because my Dad loves this place he uses a walker and its not to difficult to get into but could be better for handicapped people. It would be great if they had handicap parking as well. He enjoys the fresh squeezed orange crush drink. He also likes you can smoke... He likes a cigar from time to time. Food good but was better before... Service is ok there friendly don't get me wrong but made numerous mistakes on food order. Food could come out faster and ALL at once... But all in all nice local joint to visit.

I came in one afternoon and was having a rough day, Jeff took care of me and was just really kind. I have come in a few nights a week since and Ashley takes amazing care of me. The owner even comes out to make sure I like the food! They have a great food special most nights. The service and prices are great and I have met some really nice friends here. Love it!

Very nice place. They were training new bartender so he was still learning where everything was. He was Very outgoing. The staff was great. I believe the owner (Glenn I think) even made sure I was ok with everything. This place probably would've got 4 stars but it was a little pricey. Also... Im not a smoker & they allow smoking indoors. Although, most places do in this area. Pool tables were in great shape overall the place was great. Not sure if I'll be back only because of the price

Saw one of the greatest bands from this area for 20 years play there last night. Adrian Blitzer played three amazing sets. There wasn't one thing I found throughout the whole night whether it be the service the bathrooms the volume the people it was all around great time.. Would love to do it again soon. That place rocks!!!

Very Smokey, bands set up in the far corner furthest from the bar. If you want to watch you have to go sit on the dance floor side where there aren't many people. Bar maids are so-so, either overly "friendly" with customers or just ignores people. Kitchen had no set closing time when I was there. Just "whenever he feels like being done". However the steak sandwich was good.

We stopped here last week just to see what it was all about. The bartender is quite amusing and service oriented. Made everyone feel at home. They have a DJ some weekend nights. Plenty of singles and six packs to go. Remember to bring cash cuz they don’t take credit or debit cards. We’ll be back there soon.

mind you I didn't try the food. but open mic every Thursday night. great little stage. good sound. you need art like this in towns like Carlisle. disclosure: it's a smoking bar. but Marissa behind the counter there was so sweet and very diligent. takes a real interest in the customers making sure is driving and who gets Ubers/lyfts etc. check the place out especially if you're from out of town
