Since the new landlady and her staff took over 6 months ago they have managed to turn this pub back round to the best around pub in Notts. The pub quiz on Thursday is exciting and incredible fun with an excellent host in Joe. Exceptional value for money and great offers on all through the week. Fantastic entertainment in the evening at the weekend and a perfect venue to watch all sports which can be split across the numerous screens through the pub. The arrival of a pool table has topped the lot. Its perfect for business meetings, funeral wakes, birthday and celebration parties.... I truly cant fault one thing. They even have a secret sun garden. This pub is an oasis of happiness. J Stafford

Nice little pub. They don't do food, but beer alright.
Cracking night here, was more than welcoming to a bunch of tired burly workmen in need of some alcoholic refreshment. Staff didn't mind having a natter with us and full of helpful suggestions when we gave that blank expression while unsure on what to choose for our first beverage. Will certainly detour here again for another afternoon or evening.
Nice clean pub which does bar snacks for free on Sunday lunchtime, a nice selection of beers wines and spirits at keen prices. Would go again.

Noisy at times, quiet at times, but always friendly and fun! Great staff. Good old fashioned local with real ale and Camra discount! Great little pub! Enough said!

The beer was great, but the service was slow due to the lack of bar staff. Good old fashion pub. Could have been 5 star.
