Im almost 70 and I have been seriously ill for some months, and spent more time recently IN or VISITING hospital. Today was both a surprise and a treat for me. We stopped in the car to buy a wee bottle of water and a tin of Fanta, when we noticed the Eden Chippy was open. Much to my wife's surprise, as much as my own, I asked her to please get me a baby bag of chips.

EATING THOSE CHIPS WAS AN ABSOLUTELY HEAVENLY JOY AND SURPRISE. PERFECTLY COOKED AND NO WORDS CAN EXPRESS HOW HAPPY THAT HAS MADE ME.
The simple things in life are the best and to me, that was the best EVER bag of chips I have eaten.

The loveliest, warmest and friendliest staff! I love this chippy: they offer vegan chips, sausages and burgers which are cooked in vegetable oil in a separate fryer from all meat products! Yay! They taste gorgeous. Generous portions too!

This is the best chippy in Carrickfergus. The quality of the food and the standard of service is amazing. Once you have eaten here you will not want to go anywhere else.

The food is quite good. I tried the vegetarian fish, chips and curry. The fish was decent. It was covered by a crispy batter. The chips were good but I have had better. The curry sauce was good. Plenty of flavour and not too spicy. This chippy gets extra points for their wide range of vegetarian and vegan options. I don't know any other chippy that comes close in this regard so it is worth going out of your way to visit this chippy.
