I can honestly say that we were happy to find this oasis of authentic Italian food cooked with the passion of an original chef, a place where you can enjoy the friendly and honest atmosphere of the owner who seeks to please those who enter in his oasis. I believe that those who gave a small review do not really know the REAL Italian food home made. Unfortunately we are visiting Jersey for two days and not being able to come more often. We really consider us very lucky and very inspired to choose this place. Very nice people and magnificent atmosphere. We do strongly recommend this place and definitely will try to come again.
If you're looking for authentic Italian food made by actual Italians, this is the place to go. The pizza is absolutely phenomenal, one of the best i have had to date! Also, the prices, especially for Jersey, are extremely reasonable.
The rustic decorum enhances the experience of an Italian restaurant, opposed to the airbrushed, commercialised feeling we are becoming accustomed to after visiting a Pizza Express or the like. A truly Italian experience.
Would recommend highly if you're looking for great food, great service and affordability!
It’s a little gem of a restaurant. Yes it has dated decor, yes the beer is expensive, but my god what great pizza, you can tell the ingredients are fresh, really top drawer. Don’t go if you are looking for silver service, but if you value good simple fresh food well cooked it’s well worth a visit.
I was there with my friends on a short trip and happened to find this Italian restaurant that attracted us with its simple appearance as from those pure times of our existence and I was pleasantly surprised to find that everything was like in a movie quality, the food, the people, the atmosphere, all made us come back every day of our stay there, to this small picturesque and human quality restaurant, and I hope to have another chance to enjoy those delicious dishes. At the same time, I'm amazed that even though the restaurant was full of customers every time and people seemed to appreciate what they ordered, I don't understand why those many thanks are missing here, because honestly that place deserves a lot better evaluation.
Came by myself yesterday, was a really nice meal and were very accommodating the staff were very nice, I wish it was busier since i was the only customer and hope the restaurant does well. All the 1 star reviews are daft, its cheaper than most pizza places ive been to!
If you like a small, family run authentic Italian restaurant with lots of individual style then try San Marco. We really enjoyed our food: the scallops were the best we had in Jersey and the pasta was al dente with lots flavour. Compliments to the chef!
Lovely authentic home cooked Italian food, dad had pizza and I had the scallop linguine. Great service. Will deff be going back soon :-)
Re-opened and amazing as before covid, fresh and homemade pasta and pizzas some of the best in Jersey , the owner/chef is Italian and you can taste it in the cooking, he is also a character who comes into the dining area to chat and joke with you
As far as we know this is the only Italian restaurant in Jersey owned and managed by Italians. We liked the food and loved the service and atmosphere. Great gelato as well 😉
Very good food, really nice people and absolutely magic atmosphere. I will definitely go in there again and again...
