Had the best ever breakfast so cosy fire lit and staff amazing .. Rebecca and Nicole were so lovely friendly and welcoming, gave us a lovely seat right by the open fire which was beautiful , we didn’t wait at all .. food was lovely.. I came in a bad mood and left In a good mood. Thank you for the info on the Christmas fete too we will defo be back!!

A Blooming Good Time! From the moment we stepped into this garden of culinary delights, we were warmly welcomed by our waitress, Daisy... what a petal. Her service was anything but garden-variety. It was perennially pleasant, rooted in excellence, budding with enthusiasm and sprouting good humour. My 'Pie of the day' was fantastic.

We visited for my wife's birthday. We had a party of 5 adults and 1 child. It was fairly quiet when we arrived as we went for the early slot 16:45. The staff were very friendly and welcoming when we arrived and came round promptly to take our drinks order whilst we were deciding what to eat. The menu is amazing with some tasty looking options. The wait for food was reasonable (wasn't the quickest but when food is cooked fresh and not just chucked in a microwave then you should expect a small wait). Very happy with the wait and was even happier when we tucked into our food. None of us had any issues with the food. It was cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. The drinks were nice and staff were superb. If you want nice food and don't mind paying a little bit more than just "pub food" this is the place for you. Will definitely be going again.

The windhover, Brampton Lane, Chapel Brampton, Northampton. This is a McManus pub, it’s very pleasing on the eye. It definitely looks the part. I feel like you need to drive here, as it’s a bit out of the way.. although it has a lot of passing traffic. This is a very dog friendly pub. Lots of dog biscuits and dog bowls of water are available. Which is why we visited here. I don’t think I’ll be a returning customer. The food was expensive, it was served quickly, but unfortunately it was very hot. The plate of food looked impressive. But the content wasn’t very good. Nobody came back to ask us if our food was ok. This place is great for sitting outside in the summer and having drinks. Not a rovers return for us.

Fantastic food. Great service. Lovely country pub. Would 100% recommended making a visit to The Windhover. Such a lovely pub with wood fires and an all-round good atmosphere. Food selection is good, price is fair and quality is very good. We took our newborn daughter and the staff were also very accommodating.
