Beach Cafe

Stopped here after a walk on the beach. Had bacon and sausage baps. Great quality, nicely cooked and very friendly staff. A few reviews make comment of price. It's worth noting this is a cafe right on the beach front in a tourist hotspot. So will be more expensive than your usual cafe, but it's still worth it for what you get. Very pleased.

Compared to previous reviews, we enjoyed our visit. I didn't think it was expensive, especially considering the location. Sadly, the coffee machine was not working but they had loads of cake! That does help. Also, they had these made up sandwiches (I believe thats what they were). Sadly, we never got to try one but next time I'm down I'll visit for one. Top tip, get the chocolate brownie 😋 shockingly chocolatey

How nice it was to be able to pop into the Beach Cafe on our visit to Charmouth today. Due to Covid it was my first visit since Sept 2019 with my profoundly autistic daughters who is now in her 30's. As things had changed quite a lot to comply with rules for everyone's safety my daughter became quite confused, but the staff were so kind and patient with her, and helped redirect her to where we were allowed to sit etc. It was really nice to see Sally again too and have a quick chat. Thank you very much and hope to see you all again very soon.

I am so glad we did not look at the reviews before we visited. We ordered four meals which needed cooking to order. It was prepared quickly and was very good quality. Salad was in abundance and food was hot (not the salad!). We had outside seating as we had our dog with us but tables were cleared and our experience was very positive. We would recommend the Charmouth Beach Cafe for lunch before you go fossil hunting......and we did find some 😊
