Loved it here. I asked advice on the menu because I don’t like too much spice and they recommend the perfect meal for me. Mango Chicken was absolute delicious. Wasn’t too pricey either and two for one cocktails was great. Would definitely go back.
I'm a great lover of this kind of food as I am a Wagamama lover too. ( disappointed it's not coming to Chelmsford ).
Service was good but it was lunch and a little quiet so nothing to complain about. The food was amazingly tasty and I enjoyed it very much as well as my party as we was all trying each other's food!. I can understand what other people are saying about the portion sizes but to me it was sufficient. I had soupy noodles as a main and black rice pudding with coconut ice cream for desert. It was my birthday and they brought out a nice little chocolate pudding dessert with a candle on top for free for my b'day which was a nice touch.

Banana Tree exceeded my expectations with its fantastic food selection and impeccable service. The standout dishes for me were the mouthwatering banana blossom salad and the fragrant coconut-based laksa soup. Enjoyed our time here at Banana Tree, everything was hot and bubbling with flavour. Portion sizes for the mains were decent but everything else moderate size. The highlight was definitely the hot chicken satay sticks with the peanut butter sauce! 🤤
For dessert, I got the chocolate fondant with coconut ice cream which tasted gorgeous but the fondant could have been warmer and runnier; it felt a bit stiff.
Everything was 10/10. Food was very much too my taste. I had pad Thai and I'm not overacting when I say it was the best one I had. Also the atmosphere was a very nice relaxing place only thing missing was jazz music but that's not a big problem. Saving the best for the last was the service, I was shown options and deals that was very cost effective. She always had a smile on her face and was very friendly, which boosted the atmosphere for me. Thanks Daisy and Bananatree I'll be sure to come again.
Amazing experience, really enjoyed the food and Liviu who served us was super friendly and so helpful with understanding everything about the dishes they had available.
Food tasted fresh and hot, which was a good sign because we got to enjoy it more.
Would definitely recommend for people to try out and for anyone who's a Thai lover give them a go

I haven't had the main dish as yet but am really impressed with the service as well as the quality of food .I just recently return from south east Asia trip and I can tell you this is equally delicious..Florentina is the perfect hostess..she explained every details ..am here visiting from Antigua and I will highly recommend the restaurant BANANATREE and remember my experience here on a overcast day but the food n service make me believe I am in sunny place
Had a great meal here whilst visiting the area for an appointment. Staff were friendly and helpful and the food was on point. Good selection of veggie / vegan options too.
Daisy was super lovely and smiley, she made you feel super comfortable and you want to come back for more. 10/10 would recommend. Brilliant server! She gave us brilliant recommendations.
Great deal with 25% off on food through the Meerkat app! Visited during school holidays for lunch, had a delightful meal. Steamed Chicken Dumplings were a highlight, and the Ramen with Gyoza and Pak Choi plus Thai Calamari were winners. Service was top-notch! Just remember, you can't combine the 25% off with the 2 for 1 mocktails/cocktails offer. Choose one or the other. Enjoy your meal! 😄🍲🍹
Service by Daisy was really lovely, very bubbly and friendly also very welcoming. Helped explained the food well and overall a lovely waitress to have. Only thing was the Banana fritters were a bit on the bland side but all the other food was deliciously tasty! :)
