Went last night, as always fantastic food, such a shame it will shut Monday night.

The visit to the Empire was limited to collecting a Takeaway but that did not prevent the food being up the high standard we have always enjoyed there.
This will be the only time I have anything sour to say about the Empire. I was told by the great staff there the business is to permanently close in September. That is the saddest possible news for the Empire has for many years served up high quality food which, along with its close proximity to home,, never left us wanting. Their Chinese New Year Banquets have always been eagerly awaited and now they are to be no more. The saddest possible news!

Usually the Empire Food is great and their ribs are the best, however after last nights takeaway, we will give them a miss for a while, not a good takeaway.

Good food and reasonable prices. Sometimes can take a little longer for delivery or collection than they state - but only at busy times. Definitely recommended.

I was last had something to eat here, was some thirty years ago when I used to stay in Danbury, I'm glad to say the food is just as great as I remembered. Even down to the spare ribs. Very welcoming as ever. I'm glad I took my family thier to try the food.
