Visited on Thursday evening and have to say that this place was a breath of fresh air. Good selection of drinks, decent prices and a nice crowd of people in there. Music was not too loud so you could actually speak to each other. Best feature is the outside courtyard. I think I’ve found my new hangout...just that perfect distance out of the town to avoid the kids yet close enough to pop in for a g&t. Top marks ��It’s a 10/10 from me!

This is exactly what Chelmsford needs. Lovely place with a great food and drink selection. Perfect place to catch up with friends.

Went here for speed dating, really nice venue, live music, 2 pool tables upstairs, quite a young crowd downstairs

Nice little spot to watch the foote, plenty of space and decent pizza and beer deal. Match time pints were a little overpriced. Maybe they had service fees that we were not told of?!

Like coming home! Great atmosphere, great food and brilliant hosts! Highly recommended if ever in Chelmsford and you need a place to be yourself in good company!!!

Really lovely atmosphere bouncers are all ways on top form,Staff are all friendly definitely recommend this place good for all ages over 18, DJ S play excelent music

We had our '32 Mile East' business networking event here a few weeks ago. All the staff were very nice and attentive making sure everybody got the drink of their choice on arrival. Also the food was really tasty and we were provided with a good variety. All our guests had a great time. The pool tables were the icing on the cake as our guests moved from networking to an evening of playing pool. 'The Courtyard' ticked all the boxes for our event, so much so we are already planning our next '32 Mile East' event at 'The Courtyard' in early 2020…

Amazing bar in a great setting with unique indoor outdoor experience. The bar has pool tables upstairs which makes for a great way to start the evening. It's really lively at the weekends with trendy crowd and the prices are also on the reasonable side. Plenty of themed nights with some great local DJ's
