Big shout out to Indian Chef. During lockdown we have had 4 takeaways from them and the food is soooooo good. Big portions and good value for money.Prompt delivery. Guys very friendly. Even had boss man tonight.Will certainly be going to their restaurant when they re-open! Colin

Surprisingly good food. Not at all what I was expecting from this out of place Indian in Chelmsford.
I was expecting mediocre at best but was pleasantly surprised at how good the food was Why is this place not busy? That is the question that kept cropping up in my head.

Absolutely delicious food, you can taste the difference between all the dishes and the ingredients are very delicately prepared, the best Indian we have had outside London

Great prices and strong flavours in the food. Clear from the quality and taste of the dishes that all ingredients (garlic, herbs etc) are freshly prepared for each dish. Restaurant is great at accommodating for large groups as walk-ins (10+).

Small place but beautifully decorated. Food is spicy and yummy. Hosts were great. Definitely recommend anyone looking for good Indian or Bangladeshi restaurant at Chelmsford.
