Jet Sushi

This is a very clean and cozy establishment with a manager who is passionate about quality. We enjoyed the pork ramen - and it was stunning. No instant soup here - slow cooked broth, rich and flavoursome, tender pork and plenty of veg with traditional noodles. Sensational. The sushi set offered maximum variety, fresh as a daisy and excellent value. We have enjoyed the sharing platter before and this too is consistently good. Rolled sushi is generous and fresh - no old tuna here - with large pieces of succulent fish. This is a wonderful place but is small, so don't expect to fit 50 people; but don't let that put you off. The proprietors make you very comfortable and offer a personal service to make you feel welcome. Food and service is far better quality and value compared to that famous chain (beginning with W) and impressive selections are available for such a tiny kitchen. Do give them a try and you will be more than happy, and if you are local they do take-out. I am from another district but can't wait to visit them soon. "Itadakimasu"!

So we booked a sit down meal and left as no High chairs for baby but got a takeaway the next day, don't judge the place on its size as we did. The food was absolutely amazing and this is our new go to place for sushi, I highly recommend the soft shell crab it was the first time trying it and It's my new favourite, would be also better served fresh than take away I imagine Everything we ate was perfect although the edamen beans could do with more seasoning

very nice. as a japanese man, I approve. the music ain't all that. very nice service very nice man. food quick chef slice good chicken all day. the chicken katsu curry was a decadent bowl of excellence. sushi quite nice 😋 👌 the symphony of flavors harmonised together as my awe stricken jaws, sitting below my tantalised tongue repeatedly chomping down the 🐔

I can here for a quiet dinner on Saturday night of the bank holiday. The restaurant itself was quiet when I arrived, but there was a steady stream of Deliveroo drivers coming and going so the place was clearly popular! I ordered a tea, salted edamame and the largest nigiri/roll set. For the price, I was truly blown away. Just the right amount/ratio of rice to fish, the fish itself was buttery, the eel in particular was amongst the most fatty I've had in the UK in particular... I was really pleased. The casual sushi takeaways in town are...passable, but this is absolutely worth the extra bit of cash. Will absolutely be back soon - I spent the rest of my dinner trying to pick what I would have on my next visit!

One of the best sushi I have ever had! The sushi boat for two is a good deal as you get to try a selection of different pieces and every single one of them was so tasty! The tempura sushi was incredibile and so were the crunchy rolls! The chef / owner was very polite and super helpful! I definitely recommend Jet Sushi and will definitely come back!!

Best sushi in Chelmsford! Very small place by the river with indoor and ourdoor seating. My partner and I went for the Sushi Boat for Two and was a good deal as you get a fantastic selection of different sushi and all of them were very tasty! The tempura sushi was especially good and so were the crunchy rolls! The chef / owner was very polite and answered any questions we had. I highly recommend Jet Sushi and will be sure to come back again whether that be to dine in or as a takeaway!

This wee sushi spot in Chelmsford is great. I have eaten in a couple times, and have had several platters of assorted sushi to take away, and I have never been disappointed. The katsu curry is also worth a punt, with the chicken being moist in a crispy coating, lovely. And the curry was also well flavoured. I absolutely recommend the JET special prawn and mango futomaki. The missus is particularly fond of that one. The husband and wife team are real nice and friendly. And the restaurant is cute. It's tucked away by the canal, but well worth searching out.
