Phai's Kitchen

I booked Phai to cater a special private event for myself and 9 friends in an Air bnb. From the start she was so helpful describing the menu and helping us to choose it. We had 3 starters, 3 mains and the most delicious coconut pannacotta with mango. Phai and Ben were friendly, efficient, clean and tidy in the kitchen and produced the most amazing, delicious Thai food we've ever tasted. The thai fish cakes, corn fritters and bao bun starters were filling, but we had to make room for veggie, green thai curry, Pad See Ew noodles and the cod and prawn Panang curry was particularly divine. I could not fault a single thing about the food and Phai & Ben. I am only sorry we live so far away so wont be able to enjoy this delicious food again. Would recommend 100%,

We booked Phai for one of her cookery courses and chose to have her to come to our home! I’ve never seen this an option for a cookery lesson before and sounded amazing. And it was!!! Phai arrived with the most exciting box of fresh and high quality ingredients for Thai meals we’d chosen to learn how to cook, from her exciting and authentic menu. We learnt some amazing skills and made dishes that we’d trialled and failed before, and also some new that we’d never heard of to test our skills. At last we can cook food that tastes like it did on our holidays in Thailand! Phai is honestly so lovely and great fun… we felt so at home with her in our kitchen. Also… can’t wait to try her food at Rubys Birdlip soon! Just cannot recommend this experience enough Xx

We ordered from Phai's Kitchen for one of her Take-Away days in the Forest of Dean, so the food was pre-cooked and chilled, supplied with instructions on how to reheat and serve. A couple of days later we were ready to feast, and we were blown away by how good it all was! The heating instructions were easy to follow and the attention to detail, with all the garnishes and sauces, was impressive. The food was gorgeous. Complex, deep and interesting flavours that we cannot wait to repeat. We had Crispy Thai chicken and rice, chicken satay and pork spring rolls and it was all really good. Next time we will order extra spring rolls as they were amazing! Thanks Phai. We'll be back!
