Gallimore's Montpellier

Stylishly presented and reasonably priced, seems as if a lot of regulars were dropping in, quite a local bistro sort of feel. However, we had booked a table and were eating there for the first time - the staff didn't take our drinks order until promted and might have been more proactive explaining the specials board etc, considering the 12.5% service charge. No oysters on Sundays!

I booked this restaurant for 28th July for a special occassion. I wasn't a local, hence had to book it based on our love for seafood and the customer reviews. I must say it was an above and beyond experience, mainly due to the passion and care of the restaurant manager Sarah. I had requested for flowers to be kept at our dinner table, not knowing if it would be done, as I thought it was a long shot. However, Sarah had not only bough beautiful flowers, but also had got an extra gift that was relavant to the occassion and she had written a beautiful note. That sort of service could only come from someone whose so passionate about their job, and who will go above and beyond their call. Thank you verymuch Sarah. A rare find I'd say. So the first impressions were fantastic. And the food too was lovingly and tastily prepared. All the staff were very friendly. Great atmosphere. Loved every bit of our experience. Thank you

Simply outstanding place and can't come here often enough. Local restaurant with decently priced yet great quality fare and the service is always friendly. I noticed there were a number of customers addressed by their first name, obviously they've kept coming back too. The menu does change with the seasons and availability, but the half pint prawns were amazing!

Received a delightful welcome upon arriving and a superb service. The food was served quickly once ordered and each course tasted wonderful - obviously freshly prepared and cooked to perfection. Having now experienced the delights of Gallimores Kitchen, it’s obvious why this place receives so many plaudits - I can only add my voice to further another recommendation.
