We went here for a friend's birthday and chose it based on the reviews. We were all delighted with every aspect - decor, service, food, drink, price and ambience. We are already making plans for a return visit.

Lovely place with delicious food, and sorted me out at a late hour with no fuss. Can't fault the service. Will definitely return.
Food was great and service was paced and we were asked if we were ready for food yet. The only thing that let it down was there was a burst pipe at the back of the building as we were finishing our food and things got a little hectic. Clearly was a one off tho, I'd go back there again.
Best Indian in Wales, fantastic take outs, great fine in, good is outstanding, patrons are friendly and attentive. I've travelled the world, and would say this is the tastiest grub going. Respect to the chefs! 6/5 *

The SITAR HAS CHANGED. It's become even better than ever. The most amazing dishes outside the Indian subcontinent!!! 11/10 stars!!
The Sitar Balti is the best Indian Restaurant I have visited. For 10 years I have brought my friends, family and work colleagues to show off Sitar. Thank you : )

A lovely eating establishment in Chepstow.
We were there for the Wolfpack Pilgrimage, which started and will finish 1000 miles later after navigating around Wales.
Would recommend anyone in the area book early as it's a treat.

Really delicious food - having the metal bowls over candle flames kept everything hot throughout the meal and everything ordered was fantastic if a little milder than I expected (great news for those with less of a tolerance for spice) though packed with flavour.
Being a wet and rainy evening the floor was a little slippery so I had to mind my step but no mishaps were had - and really that was the only SUPER MINOR niggle. Excellent service, excellent food, will be returning.
