Decided to eat here after the Tom Jones' concert was cancelled and it didn't disappoint. Not one bit! We hadn't been for a long while and realised it had now been taken over. We asked if there was a gluten-free option and there was just the one pasta but they could do it with anything off the menu which was good to hear. They explained that there could be cross-contamination due to the kitchen being very small but they were very knowledgeable about it and very informative. Good for them! The food didn't disappoint and neither did the service. It was outstanding! We wouldn't hesitate to go back or recommend Bollicini to anyone. 🍕🍝🥂😊
We went here last night for my sons 2nd birthday meal and I can't recommend highly enough. We were in a party of 15 of all age ranges and the staff couldn't do enough for us. Even when bringing out my sons cake all the staff sang for him too. The food was absolutely fabulous, great portion sizes, all fresh and served within good time. We will definitely be visiting again - thank you 😊
Visited Bollicini with the family on a Saturday evening. Able to fit us in at short notice even though the place was very busy. The cuisine on offer was excellent and all at very competitive prices. The only downside was feeling pressured to finish our meals quickly as they required our table for other customers. (taking our glasses away before we have finished our meal Is not good form). However, all in all, we enjoyed our experience and will revisit at some time in the future.
Much improved since my last visit a year or so ago. Great staff and food. The bar is great for a drinks too!
I stopped going to Bollicinis' around 2 years ago because it was getting very poor on food and service. My wife and I decided to give it another go recently and it was a total change. The food the service and the staff are all excellent. We have been back several times now and it continues to impress.
Bollicini was really great, i had one if their pizzas and it was really yummy! Tasted really fresh to. Would definitly recommend and visit again. The price of our bill was really reasonable too, for 2 people.
Since spending some time in Italy many years ago I’ve always been a fan of Italian cuisine, the freshest ingredients, simply cooked and with a dollop of Italian passion and flair thrown in for good measure. The trouble is it’s so hard to find good Italian

service was perfect. food was spot on, very authentic Italian. very nice atmosphere and couldn't fault a thing.
When they didn't answer we were worried it would be too busy when we turned up, thankfully they managed to squeeze us in despite being so busy. How grateful we are they did in the end, 10/10 delicious food, catered to awkward allergies wonderfully, you can tell they take great pride in their work and food here. Can't wait to come back and work our way through the menu.
Service was fine. Starters were fine. but 2 out of 4 mains got sent back Risotto wasn't cooked properly! These were deducted from our bill and apologies made. over all a good experience so will try again in the future
Very good food. Nice and helpful staff. Very busy and staff sometimes a bit stressed but always good to find a solution. Visited on Sunday evening, so half price for starter and mains for excellent food plus the bottle of house wine.
My friend recommended this place to us after having a good experience here. We were looking for somewhere to book for one of our friend's baby shower so we all decided to book here. It was the best decision ever, from making reservations at the restaurant to leaving the restaurant. We asked whether we could put out some decorations and they were happy for us to do so. The service we received were amazing, we had Aldo and Roma looking after us and they couldn't have been better people to. All the staff were so friendly especially Aldo, who've made us all laughed the whole time. The food were amazing, cocktails and drinks recommendations couldn't have fault it, beautiful restaurant, good value for money. Me and my friends have had an amazing time here and we are definitely planning the next trip to Bollicini for another amazing day out in Chester.
What a fantastic restaurant!
From start to finish the staff and their customer service was second to none. Nothing was too much trouble for us, they really go all out to care for us. The food was amazing and very well cooked. Prices are mid range but you can tell it’s excellent quality. Would hands down recommend this if you are visiting Chester for a weekend.

Visited Bollicini today for the first time, with 3 friends. We were warmly welcomed in the recently modernised and airy restaurant. We opted to sit outside in the lovely courtyard. The service was excellent and the food was fresh, plentiful and delicious. Two of us had seafood pasta, two had pizza. We were all impressed with the experience and are currently arranging to meet there again. Highly recommend.
