My first visit to Bar Lounge. Really enjoyed it, we had a table in a booth which was really nice, staff were very attentive, food was delicious. Thought £9.50 for a small glass of wine was a bit excessive though. Will definitely go again!

We wanted to come a few months ago when we last visited Chester however it was too full. Luckily today we came at midday and they found perfect room for us. The Pepsi Max’s were massive and very cheap for the size. The chips were a decent size portion but cooked perfectly. I had the Garlic & Herb cheese calzone and the Katsu Curry chips. These were possibly the nicest food I’ve ever eaten! The service was excellent and very fast. Would highly recommend!

I booked in here for a Friday lunch and requested a table on the terrace and staff kindly accommodated us. What's great about their terrace is when the great British weather takes a turn for the worse they have you covered with the electric canopy protecting you from the elements.
I took the liberty of enjoying a couple of glasses of Champagne to go with my grilled chicken and avocado burger whereby the husband order a selection of nibbles although when it came out they were definitely not just lite bites although enjoyed them all the same.
Toilets were outstanding, clean and very stylish.

Attracted to this place by the buzz and lively atmosphere and so glad we were. The food was really excellent with great choices and the service was friendly, helpful and efficient. I had the Bang Bang Cauliflower which was so tasty and beautifully presented. The Courgette salad and Caesar Salads were also very good. The prices were reasonable and portion sizes good. Excellent facilities too. I would definitely recommend this restaurant/bar.

Popped in here for a quick drink Sunday daytime. Have always seen this bar very busy. It's a popular place in chester, so we thought we would try it on a quiet day. It didn't disappoint
We thought it was a nice place, good vibes and friendly staff. We were greeted at the entrance and chose to sit inside the is a nice terrace with patio heaters. But we felt it was a bit cold for that on the day, so sat by nice warm radiator instead. It was table service when we visited. There was a great selection of drinks we had a Rhubarb Fizz and IPA. Would recommend here we will be visiting again next time we are in chester.

Visited last night after our original choice of place to eat had stopped serving food at 7:30pm so we came here, was seated straight away.
Ordered 3 starters of Prawns, chicken skewers and buttermilk chicken. All of them were enjoyed though the buttermilk chicken (or the sauce it came with was quite salty )
Ordered a fillet steak and a rump steak with a side of Katsu curry fries.
The steaks were very nice and tasty though I preferred the rump steak more than the fillet steak. The fries were interesting but was nothing special about them.
Service was nice and was asked about our food a couple of times so overall, a nice place to eat.

Popped in here for a light lunch, 4 cocktails, and a burger later we left. Even though we were seated outside, it was covered and heated, and so this wasn't an issue. The staff we friendly and a credit to the establishment. Food was served quickly and hot and extremely tasty, but my favourite was the cocktails, amazing 👏 This will definitely be our come back to place the next time we return, "Top Notch"

Fabulous Fantastic and excellent. We had our wedding reception here. The staff are 100% the best. The food is outstanding. I can not say enough how great the bar lounge is and how outstanding the staff are. Polite, helpful, attentive, helpful. Simply I can not rave enough about how good they were. I would give it 7 stars if I could.
