What you see you get. Simple no frills cafe serving simple basic food - breakfast. Pleasent staff and excellent value. no cards taken. Clean and tidy.
A solid breakfast cafe. Signs say "Pete's Cafe" and it's cash only. The regular breakfast is £5 and you get two sausages, two rashers of bacon, an egg, hash brown, black pudding (optional), beans, two slices of white buttered toast and a mug of tea or coffee. There is also a large breakfast, veggie breakfast and various egg options. Bench seating, friendly staff, relaxed environment (you order at the counter, help yourself to cutlery and sauces) and hearty food.
We stopped in here for breakfast this morning, while our washing was in the launderette next door. £6 for a full English breakfast, with 2 slices of toast AND coffee, was in my opinion, excellent value. It tasted delicious, and the thick sliced white toast took me back to living at home as a kid. It was fabulous. If we lived in Chester, this would definitely be one of our regular spots to visit.
Thank you.
Called in for 2 breakfasts for take away they were lovely very hot lovely food
A proper old fashioned Cafe. The staff are happy, friendly and helpful. I visited after dropping off my laundry next door and was so impressed that I made a point of popping in when I picked it up the next day. I can't express how clean and well run this oasis is. Will definitely return when I'm next in Chester.
Iconic and brilliant Chester cafe.A REAL Cafe with excellent down to Earth service where you can get properly cooked home breakfasts and lunches.None of the fuss of modern so called eateries ,just good old fashioned grub, continuing the tradition of Peters Cafe.Great value as well, not over priced .Here a full English is just that and bloody good too.
Great place for all day breakfast. The two ladies are brilliant & will happily change items to suit you. Always a delight to go in (& we travel from Flintshire)
Always great food, big portions
Good sized breakfast. Beautifully cooked. Reasonable prices. Lovely staff. Very clean place.
If you are not a fan of supporting global tax avoiding coffee chains, but you are a fan of down to earth local cafés, then this is the place. Big plateful of traditional breakfast items and lovely people too. Tea was proper good too.
