Highly recommend this pub it’s always a great atmosphere and great for families. Food is cheap and cheerful lovely staff & can’t praise enough how much they put on / have for kids they have a large garden outside with toys/ ride on toys bikes, trikes scooters and more they sometimes have a bouncy castle up top which kids love. They have all kinds of family friendly events on throughout the year too last night they had the Halloween party completely free which was absolutely amazing they had met and greet with creepy crawlys show and loads of party games for the kids. Definitely worth a visit.

Amazing family pub, great atmosphere and even greater staff. I recommend the food, the pizza and meats are well prepared and delicious. The pub also offers weekly deals, holiday celebrations and parties, as well as live bands. 10/10 would recommend :)

The Peacock is such a brilliant pub. It’s clear that all the guys who run it and work there are putting massive amounts of effort into making it a great pub and it shows. Just this weekend they’ve had adult and family halloween event that have been brilliant and it looks like more of the same is planned for Christmas and beyond. We’re lucky to have it on our doorstep - you couldn’t want anything more from your local pub.

Visited on a Sunday afternoon. Some of us had roast dinner, others burgers and mixed grill. Some dishes better than others. Roast dinner could definitely do with a bit more roast potatoes. Overall, good experience and excellent service from John.

Lovely pub food, we ate every last drop of food. I recommend the beef pie and apple crumble. There was good senior 3 course meal for my mother in law as the kids all their food. Really friendly service.

With 3 young boys the Peacock has become somewhere for us all to go to, talk, meet and eat with friends whilst the boys enjoy playing both outside and inside! Food is great, small plates always good and the pizzas are really good!

Came here today for my daughters birthday, 11 of us in total and was all happy with the food and good service. Alex was great dealing with such a big table! Lots of toys for kids to play with and a good outside area/ beer garden 👍🏻

Having arrived at the Peacock pub after a 5 hour journey, I was hungry, tired & thirsty! I was meeting up with cousins (over from the US) & our aunt, whose 90th birthday we were gathering to celebrate. 6 of us sat around a table, the bar staff were extremely helpful, bringing much needed drinks to the table (it was a very hot day yesterday!) & they helped us navigate the menu & order our food. I asked for a rump steak, to be cooked medium rare. It was delicious, chips were crunchy, & the whole table ate everything put before them & we left a very happy party. The Peacock is a very good local pub, the food is tasty & good value & we would definitely recommend it. Thanks to the staff from our tired, hungry family!

Was wondering around Chester and I found a wonderful little pub on the side of the road. Decided to pop in and to my delight they had a great selection of beers including ales (I’m an ale drinker). I ended up staying the whole afternoon and even decided to have some food off a very impressive menu. I went for the steak which was cooked to perfection (compliments to the chief)! I was served by very enthusiastic and friendly bar staff always asking me if I needed anything. Highly recommend. Particular mention to Alex and Emily who were able to put up with my constant chatting behind the bar, always Smiling and laughing. Will definitely be returning.
