Marilyn's Cafe

My family of 5 and I went to Marylin’s on a Sunday for breakfast and it was great! Upon arrival, we waited maybe about 3 minutes for them to set up a table. Once seated, the restaurant is VERY crammed: there’s booths lining both sides, which can seat 4 people comfortably, however they have larger tables in the middle and it is TIGHT. Our waitress was very nice and got everything right! Our only complaint is that our table’s food came out at different times and 2 people in our party were 1/2 way done with their meals before the rest of the table got their food… it also took some time to get our sides of toast, sausage, etc. so eating was a little awkward timing-wise. The owner is a long haired gentleman who has the nicest personality and great customer service. Obviously the diner was packed for a Sunday but he didn’t stop moving to ask tables what they were missing, if they needed anything, how the food was, and just to chat in general. He wasn’t overbearing or anything but very pleasant and did a great job of ensuring we had a great breakfast. Overall our food was very good once it came out - a bit pricey but good to say the least! We will return for sure!

Stopped in late on a Monday morning. We were seated immediately and the two servers working were both polite and friendly. We ordered a sausage, egg, and cheese on a roll and the happy waitress. The happy waitress was tasty but came on a very lightly toasted white bread so it was a bit soggy. If ordered again would request it with well toasted rye bread. I would recommend the sausage, egg, and cheese and would definitely go back.

Fyi, it is cash only. Small place hidden inside strip mall. Well known to locals. Decor is, you guessed Marilyn Monroe themed. Partitions to keep you safe during covid times. Masks required to enter. Full menu fast, friendly service - Misty is excellent!!!! If you're in the area and look for off heated track spot to eat - you definitely owe this place a try!
