Every time we visit my in-laws in New Jersey we go to Chester Bagel. We’ve gone there for years. The customer service is great as well. And their Taylor ham, egg, cheese, salt, pepper, ketchup on an everything bagel is probably my favorite sandwich on earth. Can’t beat it. If I didn’t live 3,000 miles away I’d be there weekly.

These are the best bagels I have ever had; and I've lived in the tri-state area my whole life. There are so many bagel flavors to choose from... "A kid in a candy store" vibes if you know what I mean. My boyfriend and I ordered six and each one was warm. When you bite into their bagel, the world slows down. The texture and the taste are unparalleled, truly. Can't wait to be back in the area to visit again!

This became my go to place after I discovered the place nearer to me was stealing from me over and over. I first noticed it on my credit card. Then other townspeople were saying the same thing.
This is the go-to place in this area for top NY bagels. The bagels themselves are high quality and the sandwiches are prepared great.
Chester Bagel is the best. They are honest and the place is very clean. The food is super good. I buy bagels by the dozen here.. a LOT.

Not bad, but nothing extraordinary with my bagel sandwich. Didn’t realize they were CASH only, which to me is ridiculous in 2022. No one carries cash anymore. If you really need to use a card, you can place pick-up orders via GrubHub.

Come on, it's Chester bagel. They're famous in the area for good reason; great bagels done right, a full menu of breakfast, sandwiches, salads, soups, you name it. They're cash only and crazy busy in the mornings, but you'd be hard pressed to find a better spot for your morning fix. Taylor Ham, Egg, and Cheese on one of their perfect egg bagels if you're looking for a recommendation.

There is no doubt they have the best bagels anywhere locally. They have an old Brooklyn recipe that makes them taste extremely authentic. Aside from not taking anything but cash, and needing to get more organized when taking an order; it is worth the trip.
