My GF and I had lunch here and it was stellar. They were out of the eggplant which saddened me but the meatballs were delicious and the staff are super friendly. Will definitely be coming back soon!

Wow! This place is legit. Ah. Mazing sandwiches. It’s NYC quality gourmet sandwich shop right here in Chester, NJ. Apparently they also cater! The bread is crunchy and fresh - as if baked by an Italian grandma. The porchetta sandwich is served warm and was my favorite. We’ll be regulars here. (Like if this review was helpful or follow me!)

Wonderful place. The mushroom arancini they have occasionally is spectacular. Highly recommend the Sicilian tuna. Bread choices could be slightly better. But I can’t fault this cute place. Eggplant parm good too

If you are passing through Chester and only have time for one meal that meal should be at Artista. The owner, Kevin, is a kind individual and dedicated chef. He consistently delivers on the taste and quality of his food and any visit to Artista always results in brightening my day and leaving me full and satisfied. During COVID-19 Kevin has adjusted to providing meal to go and he posts a weekly menu on their website every Saturday that patrons can call and order for pickup later the next week. For anyone worried about a drop in quality due to a shift to takeout I would like to out your fears to rest. The food has remained as delectable as ever and the presentation of the meals has been unimpaired. My family ordered the Easter meal from Artista back in April and the food we received significantly brightened a bleak time as we were forced to celebrate away from loved ones. If you are tired of cooking or simply want something new give Artista a try.

I grew up in Brooklyn, so I thought I would never find an authentic Italian Salumeria out here in the burbs; I was wrong. Artista has quality, fresh, homemade italian dishes and specialty items that will take you back to a time of hanging cheeses, salamis and sawdust on the floor. Everything is fresh and made on premises. The pasta is perfect and the variety of sauces makes dinner easy. They have indoor seating and parking in the back. I had a roast beef sandwich, cooked rare and juicy. I'll def be back

Everything is fresh, and really tasty. I pick up their tiny appetizer trays which are great for about 4 people- enough for a really nice afternoon snack or to have as small appetizer. The people here are so friendly and will work to get it right for your occasion.

Kevin is amazing. We had a wine tasting party and he worked with us to create an amazing menu to go with each wine. We also recently hosted a private dining party at Artista Salumeria, wonderful place and wonderful food. Always a great place for a burrata sandwich! All of the staff is very helpful and friendly as well.

Amazing local Italian/deli shop. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for meats, cheeses, snacks, or lunch from a quality and reputable place. The sandwiches are to die for and the meatballs go great with pasta or by themselves!
