Good quality city centre fish and chips, sit down restaraunt, decent prices. Everything on ground floor including wc (can't remember if it's disabled friendly), little bit cramped if you want to get a wheelchair in bit possible. Service understandably a bit slower during busy times. Slightly below average prices, above average quality. Clean and well presented inside, staff friendly and helpful.

Nipped in to have some fish and chips and a pot of tea for 2, the cod was beautiful , white with a lovely crispy batter . Chips was very tasty. The pot of tea came with milk and some hot water to top up the pot, I had 3 cups of tea and my wife had 2 cups. Very reasonable price. Staff were very helpful and polite. I would definitely recommend going there.

Chester's isn't just a fish and chip shop it has a really beautiful restaurant too. The restaurant is immaculate and beautifully designed with a calm colour scheme and restful wall lights. The menu is comprehensive. We had fish and chips and our family had a range of burgers which were first class and served with chips and salad on lovely pale aqua plates which complimented the decor throughout the restaurant. We didn't have a dessert but amongst other choices there was a fantastic range of ice creams. We will definitely return and recommend it to our friends.
