Had a fabulous birthday meal yesterday. Staff were very attentive. Food was amazing, all 3 courses. Stephanie was our waitress. Other staff members were also helping with drinks and clearing the table. Loved the decor was gorgeous. Also got a complimentary Prosecco for my birthday which was a nice touch. Thank you. Deffo visit again and recommend.
Belated birthday meal treat from my husband, considering begining of January fully booked and quite rightly so, food came out like an Instagram image and tasted like it too, staff were fab there when you needed them and not overly expensive especially for what you are getting, perfect birthday treat. Highly recommend for any occasion.

Possibly the best steak I've ever had! Wilted spinach and Stilton was excellent, as were the garlic prawns.

Premium prices for a pleasant experience. Took the work team out here for Christmas evening meal in mid December. Staff were attentive, table was ready and we were expected. We were not rushed along - but then the restaurant was about 50% full and emptying as the evening went on (we had a 2030 booking). Food was prompt and all starters and mains arrived together and warm. Very slight mistake with a side order of the wrong type of fries. Being British we didn't bother complaining...
Steaks ordered all around as a main, tasty and as ordered.
Just would say ÂŁ240 for 5 heads with 2 of those not drinking alcohol does seem a bit high for Chester, but then times are a changing I suppose...
Tried Restaurant Week menu (3 courses for ÂŁ20), blown away by the quality of the dishes and the portion size! Only little thing that I could note was some of the sides weren't that hot when they got to our table, but they were still very tasty! Servers were all lovely and service was timely, looking forward to returning to explore the main menu!
Amazing food quality great portion size beautiful restaurant delicious cocktails and fantastic service. The staff are clearly well looked after by management as they couldn’t do enough for us I will 100% be back.
The garlic mushrooms and the king prawns were particularly excellent and the steak was cooked to perfection
I feel the overall low score is definitely undeserved.
Fantastic food. All three if us in our group has nachos to start which where piping hot and were lovely.
We then had a t bone and sharing platter. Both were cooked perfectly and we were not waiting long either.
Our desserts were perfect too, i had some iced cream, one scoop of which was treacle. That was very nice indeed. I cant remember what the others had but thy were certainly happy with them.
Pricing is about what you'd expect to pay for a decent steak house so everyone who's complaining about that just need to get out more.
The service was good enough, ive nothing to pick at there either.
I'll happily return in the future. If the staff read this, you do a good job. Just ignore the moaners.
Seen a lot of bed reviews not sure why! We first had starters which were lovely, chicken skewers and the duck. Then had a tomahawk steak between 2 of us with all the sides, prawns, fries, mac n cheese. Steak was very tender and tasty. Couldn’t fault any of it and service was friendly and fast. Is pricey but was NYE so why not
