What a lovely place.We went on Easter Sunday evening for pizza.They were absolutely delicious.I highly recommend the pizzas.Also the wine selection is fabulous.We will definitely be going back to sample the tea room delights.The staff also great and very accommodating.A unique little gem.
I have always loved this place and recommend it to anyone but having booked for my daughter and her friends to have kids afternoon tea there at £9.95 per head I was bitterly disappointed to receive a few small sandwiches (as expected) which is fine and one, one cupcake each, not the variety of cupcake we were told we would get when booking. There should be at least 2 choices each as with normal afternoon tea. Disappointed �
I wish to update this review because, hats off to them and the lovely Lewis for contacting me after reading my complaint and taking it on board. He was very understanding and said they would review the children's afternoon tea to make it better and very kindly offered afternoon tea for two to make up for it. Which, as I knew it would be, was amazing. Thank you for being extremely professional and friendly and listening to me. My faith is restored and as always I highly recommend this place and my rating is back to 5 stars �
My favourite tea room in Chesterfield. Coming back for the second time and I ordered the half English all day breakfast with a pot of tea 🫖 the portion size was just right. All items were cooked through and the presentation was well thought out. The crockery was lovely and the little extra biscuit that came with the tea was a nice touch! Thoroughly enjoyed it 😀
Had our wedding reception here last week and I’m so glad we chose The Vintage Tea Rooms. The room was decorated beautifully, the food was great as was the service.

We visited here yesterday after a very poor experience at another establishment in chesterfield. My partner is coeliac so being met with a menu to include gluten free items is amazing.
We had two afternoon teas, one of which was gluten free... However my partner didnt want sandwiches so they obliged in just giving me two lots of normal sandwiches.
The tea was lovely, the crockery was beautiful with no chips or cracks. The cherry scone I had was superb.
We will definitely visit again, thankyou so much
Came to Chesterfield with the hope of visiting a lovely coffee shop located within an antique shop only to find it gone! Wandered around a bit then came across this place, turned out to be the coffee shop from the antique shop I had been hoping to visit, we had the afternoon tea which was delicious, the sandwiches were fresh and tasty, the scones were really nice with a sugary type coating and the cakes, plenty to choose from, all looked delicious, the ones we had were very nice, the coffee too was lovely, couldn't fault anything, the service was friendly and excellent, will definitely be visiting again when in the area 😋
We booked the space upstairs for a baby shower for my wife, the space was perfect, we added decorations but the room is lovely anyway and provides a great venue. The food and service was also fantastic, definetly will be back, Thank you!

I chose the Eggs Florentine and had it with a very fruity tea- I think it was Rosehip & Hibiscus. Service was good.
The cakes on display looked absolutely delicious, but I had a train to catch. Otherwise, I’d have most likely got involved!
Always a treat going there for brunches! Great teas and coffees, lovely staff, vintage vibes and always great food ! Lots of vegetarian and vegan options in the menu! Coffee blends are definitely worth trying! And the cakes are pretty good too !
Fantastic food brilliant service. Amazing atmosphere im from Mansfield but will definitely travel to these. Best ive been to in a long time. Prices are good too

After being recommended by a work colleague at the company i work for, which is based 40 miles away from Chesterfield. I dropped in on a midday week for lunch.
The soup, toastie and cake were all absolutely amazing. Excellently priced, well portioned and loads of flavour.
The staff were attentative and very polite.
If you are visiting the area. You have to go.
