Staff were friendly and efficient. Lovely food - I had the pie of the day (Steak and Stilton with homemade chips and garden peas) and my friend had a steak sandwich with peppercorn sauce and homemade chips. Both meals were delicious and the portions are of a decent size. Overall, good value for money.

Wow, the pie is to die for, and the golden ale washes it down nicely. Staff are friendly and attentive and the atmosphere is like a great big hug! Really struggled to finish my pie.
Great old pub situated in the countryside. Lots of history and lovely walks. Slightly on the expensive side but nice though. Lovely to sit outside in the night time under the fairy lights.
