Always a good selection of beers cider gins etc, it's very good pub food, clean and tidy everything from a chip butty to a full meal local pies. never had a bad meal or left feeling hungry, staff excellent. check opening times as they do vary.

A lovely place with brilliant food at great prices. I'm quite a picky eater and they will make alterations if there's anything you don't want. Love coming here, will definitely be coming back soon ❤️

Food not cheap cheap, but for portion and taste very good value.
Dog friendly and children too with a park, also space for them to run around.

We went in here last night. Such a cosy old style traditional pub. It’s lovely inside and massive. The staff were very friendly. A good selection of alcohol especially the gin. Thank you so much ladies we’ll definitely be back again. We couldn’t rate the food as we went in, in the night time. But we’ll definitely try the food sometime. Our first time here, good quality food, generous portions, the staff are very friendly and chatty. They have an extensive list of ciders and real ales. Will definitely be returning.

Great place for an overnight campervan stop. No food last night, Tuesday, but menu looks good and very reasonable. An excellent selection of craft beers and traditional ciders all very reasonably priced. Bar staff very friendly. Would definitely recommend for campervan stop, although a bit of traffic noise as next to a busy main road.

Great choice of beers and cider, friendly and welcoming staff! Dog friendly (with treats!) They welcome motorhomes and provide EHU if needed £10. Sadly not serving food when we stayed. Great stopover close to M1. Yes, there's traffic noise but earplugs fix that, and after 11pm traffic is virtually non-existent.

We are happy to say this pub is our local, the food is exceptional, the beers good, the staff are great n the punters aren't bad either. To top all of this off, Kathy and John allowed us to hold our very own wedding festival here last weekend. It was the best day ever, you did us proud both of you on the best day of our lives.
