Stumbled across this lovely little place while browsing the jewelry in the adjacent auction house. Had 4 vegetarian dishes which were absolutely amazing; tasting really authentic and homemade. Also has a hybiscus based drink which I enjoyed, different to anything I've tried before! Maryam the owner is very friendly & service was great. Highly recommend!!! I felt that I had to change my rating following my second visit with my boyfriend. The original review (above) still holds, however, I feel it is a little overpriced and portions very small. I understand that a lot of nice ingredients and effort go into making the food, but at least with things that are very cheap to produce (e.g. bread) they could be a lot more generous. Also a little disappointed that there doesn't seem to be a veggie main. The owner explained that she didn't want to waste food if people didn't opt for vegetarian mains which I didn't feel made a lot of sense. An increase in portions & a main veggie/vegan option would make increase the rating back to 5 stars

First things first, I must say I was amazed with the way this cafe was decorated. The joint gives me the feeling of a spot where Iranian writers and poets come to meet or come by themselves to be inspired. The food is second to none. The phrase I would have to use is generously flavoured. Rice and stew dishes is my favourite choice in the Iranian cuisine, and a slice of cake for desert never hurt anyone! All and all I would recommend this cafe to anyone who wants to experience an unconventional taste of Iran, one that stands out from the usual Kebabs associated with the cuisine. Nice change of scenery and flavour!

I’ve been to Maryam’s cafe several times now and I have to admit it is hands down the BEST Persian restaurant in London. I’m a hotelier by profession and can speak not only on a personal level but a professional level - it’s the most authentic home cooked Persian food served in a small but chic environment. The entire experience is top class and I implore everyone to go and experience this truly gem of a place in Chiswick.

I finally had the chance to visit Maryam's cafe last week. I wasn't disappointed. The cafe has a warm, welcoming ambiance and the food was tasty. I had a selection of salads with delicious Persian flat bread with sesame seeds. The fresh mint tea was lovely too. A must visit.

Delightful atmosphere in an intimate setting. We sat in the window, which I highly recommend, and had the breakfast, eggs and toasted Persian bread. It was very tasty and arrived quickly. The flat white was easily on a par with the best around. We were very curious and the owner/ operator was happy to answer all our questions with friendliness and enthusiasm. I perused her cook book and all the dishes look delicious. If the breakfast was anything to go by I look forward to trying some of their lunch dishes. We will definitely be returning. What a great addition to the area. Thanks Maryam!

This is a beautiful cafe, all rich jewel colours with a wonderful selection of tasty Persian food. It is divided into 3 areas, including a dining room and lounge area to make you feel really comfortable. Maryam & her staff are relaxed and friendly. Worth visiting.

Some of the best pancakes we have ever had. Really good tea served in beautiful china. Relaxed atmosphere, we could have stayed here all day looking out of the windows onto the high road. Can't wait to come back and try their cakes.

Such a charming, cute and hospitable experience! My Iranian friend invited me to Saturday breakfast with an authentic persian food promise. I felt there was so much love and consideration put into Maryam's cafe, from interior decoration, staff, menu of the day, etc. Meeting and interacting with Maryam herself (she is by the way not just the owner but the chef too), scrolling through her beautiful cook book Nightingales and roses, drinking delicious rose herbal tea blends and enjoying the fresh and sweetly presented food, the promise my friend made was indeed true. I felt warm inside<3. I recommend this place from my heart.
