Called in on spec and managed to get a table on Friday night. Took advantage of the deal for 2 that was on. Two steaks and chips or option for fish and two drinks. I chose fish and chips, came with mushy peas and Tate sauce with a lemon wedge. Good size portion, well cooked and service was spot on! Good value Friday night supper, would recommend.
Just been to the Dressers for lunch after a great walk, and what can I say the staff could not have been more attentive, the food was more than just pub food, we have eaten at some great restaurants around the north west and beyond and the standard dished up at the Dressers was on a par with some of them. I would highly recommend you make this your food stop after a long walk. Its a 10 from me.
Just had dinner here with family it was brilliant. Great food and great service. We had roast dinner with 3 joints of meat available you could have any or all three. So polite and so attentive. Will definitely be back.

Hardly disappointed as The Dressers Arms could fit us in and served up a treat - three treats to be fair. Three stunning meals plus a bonus treat of first class onion rings!
The gammon streak was like a mini Sunday roast - stunning!

My husband and I had lunch, I had the fillet steak sandwich, definitely recommend, plenty of tasty steak along with chips & salad. My husband had the steak & ale pie, lots of steak in a nice gravy served with triple fried chips. Definitely be going again.
Had the chicken wings with mango and habernero sauce they were excellent. hallumi fries they were excellent not chewy at all. My main was a homemade steak and mushroom pie with greenbeans cabbage and potato wedges all cooked to perfection.
Restores my faith in local English food industry. The Chef is very original and Skillful. Spent around £25 per head with drinks. 5 star food at reasonable prices.

Fabulous pub with a lovely atmosphere, great food and welcoming staff. Went as a family of 8 on a Thursday night and couldn't fault a thing. It was busy and had a warm and friendly atmosphere. My favourite, the cheese and onion pie, was wonderful - served with big fat chips, mixed veggies and a lush gravy 😋 Not the first time we've visited and certainly won't be the last.
Nice place. Plenty of room outside whilst the sun is out. Only had a drink. Been a while since I've eaten here so couldn't comment. Plenty of car parking.

Lovely place. Spent the weekend there as was attending a wedding on Chorley . Staff very accommodating and friendly, nice pub grub . May try the Chinese resturant next time.
