Great host. He's very welcoming and friendly. Sissie the black labrador was also very friendly. Enjoyed our beers there. Nice selection. Its a pity that the lockdown in 2020 caused the kitchen to close.

Been working down here for a number of weeks and this is by far the best pub food I have encountered here.
Claudia and Fliss are the most pleasant and hard working girls. Always attentive to who needs what.
Briefly met the landlord and he seems to be a pleasant and funny guy.
I will definitely return for more food and London Pride.

Landlord and staff very welcoming and friendly. Excellent choice of wines and beers and interesting menus for lunch and dinner. One or two odd locals in on a Tuesday night but, overall, a really good old fashioned country pub atmosphere. If you are in the area, go there. You will not be disappointed!

Absolutely lovely! Went with friends for a Christmas lunch, the food was perfect, and everyone made sure that we were very well looked after. A really great time was had by all. Would definitely recommend.
