Great food!
We got takeaway from here and ate out at Mudeford Quay.
They serve you in 10-15 minutes at peak hours so relatively fast.
There are several chairs inside where you can wait for your food.
Prices are pretty average I added a photo of the updated menu.
Delicious Cod perfectly prepared the fish was nice and flaky soft on the inside.
Outside was crunchy and amazing. It was a good size filet.
The chips were good however the bag they came in made them soggy after aprox 10 minutes so the last half of the chips were abit harder to eat.
Id recommend to bring your own salt and ketchup for eating this so you can easily add what you need.
The portion was great, most of us got large portions and they were truly large!

To summarize a great fish and chips experience that I'd recommend to others.
We came to this fish & chip shop many years ago when our children were young (at least 15 years ago) and wondered if it was still there and were very happy to see it is. The queue was long at opening time 5pm but the service was well organised and staff were very efficient at taking orders and payments and serving up the orders without a long wait. The fish pieces were huge and 1 regular portion of chips was plenty for the two of us (1 fish would easily have fed both of us) and I'm pleased to say the quality and taste were as good as we remembered, excellent well recommend it 😉
What happened? It was not a great experience today. Unfortunately, chips were not the best ... I'm so disappointed.. drove here, especially for the fluffy chips I remember. Now skinny terrible chips... It's such a shame.. Fish wasn't that great, either tiny and greasy. Expensive lunch .. battered sausage was good and tasty, though, so we shared that! 😔
Staff are absolutely lovely. Food was so delicious we drove out of our way just to eat from there. Prices are fair. Get there early there will be a queue but we’ll worth the wait. If your in the area this is a definite if you want fish and chips
A busy fish and chip shop, serving well cooked food. The fish was perfectly served with a crispy, tasty batter, chicken nuggets and sausages were also tasty and well done. Only problem is parking due to its popularity there's limited on street parking.
Very nice if not on the high price bracket. Curry and gravy were top notch.
I am not exaggerating when I say this is the best fish and chip shop in the world. They are understandably busy at peak times but means the food is always cooked fresh. Alexander’s stands head and shoulders above the rest
This is take away only and there was a bit of a wait the last time we visited but it was worth it. Fish & chips were delicious. I'll definitely return
Excellent food so pleased we stumbled across the shop. The best fish and chips I’ve had in a long time.
Amazing chip shop big queues but everything is so well run it takes no time to get your order. There are seats outside the shop where you sit waiting for your number to be called well worth the wait food was excellent don't let the queue put you off
